Size is for a child's arm. I thought it was bigger & more stability so I have to return.

Purchased for fractured fibula
Purchased for my brother, who fractured his left fibula.The walking boot the doctor gave him was terribly heavy, caused the ankle to rotate - which irritated the fracture.Walking boot also rubbed against the skin wounds on the outside of his left ankle. Yet the fibula needed to be immobilized, and supported.Brother is 5'8 inches tall, and the medium fit very well.The brace is not too heavy, follows the shape of the lower leg, and keeps that area stabilized.The brace has to be lined up correctly on the lower leg; simply rotate it until the steel aligns with the shape of the lower leg.I think this item is a very good price, arrived in just a few days, and is performing exactly as needed.Would buy again, absolutely.
