A really great set, so many little details and great to expand on with other Hogwarts sets.

A great Great Hall!
I admit that I am a collector of Harry Potter Lego, and did wonder about getting this as I already had the older version from a few years back. However, this is a far superior build and is leagues ahead of the previous incarnation. It can be a bit fiddly in places so would recommend for kids 10+It works really well with the new sets that are out now (it is designed to work with the Boat House and the Potions class) and looks great as part of the castle - even though the roof tile colour has now changed from green to grey. It still sits well with the older sets.

A fun item to enjoy building with Harry Potter fans!
Firstly, we were all impressed that Lego have changed the internal packaging to paper bags (mostly; there was only one or of 18 bags that was clear plastic.The attention to detail in the model is commendable, and we loved that bits of the whole model could be built independently (separate build manuals, so the kids don't squabble!).We look forward to getting other bits that can expand the whole model over time!

Great set
My son absolutely loves it - surprised at how quickly he built it though but then again he has lots of practice! It is a good set with a great troll character. My son though the floating candles in the great hall were clever.

Fabulous
Kept my ten year old granddaughter occupied on and off for about ten days (no help from anyone, far too independent for that!) and she is now really looking forward to playing with it. It comes in sixteen packets and she loved to let me know when she had done a few. I was concerned that it might be too difficult for her but she needs a challenge and she rose to the occasion.

This is a brilliant lego model and a must for Harry Potter collectors, it has so many hidden secrets and plenty of mini figures
