Simple, reliable charger that worked perfectly with my EV6
I picked up this charger to use with my EV6 while waiting for my hardwired Level 2 unit to be installed, and it ended up being a very straightforward solution. Using it on a standard 110‑volt outlet in the garage worked without any issues — I plugged it in, it started charging immediately, and the plugs never felt warm, so I wasn’t worried about overheating or stressing the circuit. My 2025 EV6 has a NACS port, and since this charger includes a NACS connector, I didn’t need to deal with any adapters. That alone made it more appealing than going with a J1772 option. It doesn’t have app control or extra features like some of the pricier chargers, but for a temporary or portable setup, I didn’t really need that. The 25‑foot cable is genuinely useful. It gives enough reach that I didn’t have to mess with extension cords, which keeps things safer and cleaner. The charger itself looks nice — nothing flashy — and the cord and housing feel solid enough to hold up well as long as it isn’t abused. It’s obviously compatible with NACS vehicles, but anyone with CCS or J1772 will need an adapter. Overall, it did exactly what I needed it to do, and it did it reliably.

Excellent, Easy to Use, Purchased a Second One!
We have purchased two of these. When we purchased the first one it was originally planned to be used when traveling and/or as a backup. However, as we were waiting to secure an electrician to install a hardwired charger (challenging due to combination of ice, snow, Christmas and New Year holidays for several electricians), we used our first Seguma charger for regular charging. It worked very well for what we needed, slow but expected due to working off the 110. However, by the time the electrician had been able to make it we decided to go with just a dryer outlet and use the AOWEITOUR 30 Amp NEMA 10-30P Dryer Plug to 20 Amp NEMA 6-20R EV Power Adapter, and it works great, the electrician confirmed it is a safe setup, and the vehicle charges at 16 Amp, very quick charging. So, we purchased a second one to use for traveling. We also then purchased the PeoMev Metal Garden Hose Holder which works perfectly to hang the coiled cable. Our experience it is an excellent charger, especially for the cost and portability.

Good quality option to the more expensive Tesla charger.
I purchased this because it is 5 feet longer than the original Tesla charger and about 1/2 the price. The Tesla charger is 20ft and this Seguma is 25ft (plus the 1 foot extension to adapt from 240v connection to 110v connection). I need the extra length. I am very happy with this product as it works great! Had it for one month. The quality is good and it works as it is supposed to. I plug it into a 110v outlet. It is slow charging this way, but that's standard for this kind of set up. If you need a faster charge you will have to use a 240v or a fast charger station.

Simple and effective for basic commutes and travels!
Let me preface by saying that I love my Seguma NACS charger with its Level 1 (5-15 outlet) and Level 2 (6-20 outlet) connectors. My meandering discusssion below is for EV newbies and not for seasoned EV veterans who will very likely smirk at my naive take. As an EV newbie, I deliberated on whether I should use a dedicated wall charger or a mobile charger. The next question was, what type of charger? Like most, my garage has a 120 v (5-15) outlet. That would have drawn (generated) 120V * 15Amps * 0.8 (uses 80% of circuit breaker rating) = 1.44 KW. I plugged in the Seguma's level 1 connector and it began with a blue indicator, that in 10 seconds changed to a soft blinking green, indicating charging at about 1+ KW. For my daily commute, I use about 50% of my battery capacity (~38 KWH) and it took me from evening to the next morning to get the charge back to spiff. But long behold, I realized that my Microwave was also running off the same circuit and running my microwave for more than 45 seconds was tripping the breaker. Initially, I was using my app to turn off the car charger when using the microwave. But I needed a better fix. A dedicated circuit. I mulled over a 250v dedicated NEMA 14-50 outlet (4 prongs with 3 poles) that would draw 240V * 50Amps * 0.8 = ~12 KW. That was a bit of an overkill for me and I liked my current Seguma charger and did not want to replace it. I also did not want a dedicated wired-in wall charger and wanted the flexibility of a mobile charger that I could carry with me for trips. The Seguma's 6-20 Level 2 outlet connector was a good compromise. I purchased a Leviton weatherproof outlet (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QFC1B2J?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1) and had an electrician replace one of the 50 Amp panel circuits with a 20 Amp breaker. Seguma's Level 2 6-20 connector started generating a respectable 240V * 20A * 0.8 = 3.8 kW. That is ample for me and 4 times faster than a normal 120v (5-15) outlet. The build quality is quite good and sturdy. I appreciate the ability to press the charger button to open the charging port and another press to unlock the charger from the car. I do wish the charger came with a charging tip cover and a better way to roll and pack the cable to put it in the carrying bag. I would have been lovely if the outlet plug were at a right angle (so that the thick cable did not protrude 6" from the outlet. But as of now, the Seguma is a worthwhile investment with its 15 AMP 120v Level 1 and 20 AMP 250v Level 2 connectors. Simple and effective!

Nice gadget!
Exactly as described. Works well, not a single issue. Worked perfectly and used it as a bridge the new until the contractor installed the wall unit.

The Best Budget-Friendly "Daily" Charger
The Pros: High-End Convenience The "Magic" Button: The biggest win here is the wireless button on the NACS connector. It works exactly like the official Tesla charger to pop the charge port door. It sounds like a small thing, but when you’re coming home after a long shift or trying to plug in during a Marysville rainstorm, not having to pull out your phone or open the car door is a huge plus. Sturdy Build: Being a CNC machinist, I have a low tolerance for "cheap-feeling" plastic. This unit actually feels heavy-duty. The 25ft cable uses high-conductivity copper and a TPE flame-retardant jacket that feels like it can handle being dragged around a garage or used outdoors. Versatility: The dual-voltage support is perfect for travel. The included NEMA 5-15 adapter is great for a slow "trickle" charge when visiting friends, while the NEMA 6-20 plug gives you a decent Level 2 boost at home without needing a massive 50A circuit upgrade. The Cons: The Speed Ceiling 16A Limitation: This is the main "catch." While it’s a Level 2 charger, it’s capped at 16 Amps (approx. 3.8 kW). For comparison, the Tesla Mobile Connector can hit 32 Amps (7.7 kW) with the right adapter. Charging Time: On a Model Y Long Range, you’re looking at about 14–16 miles of range per hour. If you come home with a near-dead battery, a full charge will take nearly 20 hours. It’s perfect for topping off daily commutes, but if you’re a heavy driver, it might feel sluggish. Certification Nuance: The materials (like the jacket and internal wiring) are UL-rated, but the entire unit lacks a full UL/ETL "Whole Device" listing. For a budget brand, this is common, but it’s something to consider if you plan on running it at max load 24/7 for years. Final Verdict If you need a reliable home charger for a standard daily commute (50–60 miles) or a high-quality backup for road trips, this SEGUMA unit is a no-brainer. It "just works" and feels much more premium than its price suggests. However, if you have a massive commute and need to go from 0 to 100% in a single 8-hour sleep, you’ll want to stick with a 32A or 48A hardwired station.

Most bang for the buck on 16a outlet
This has been a great product to have as a slow charger for my Tesla Model x . The 12a will give you 4-5 miles a charge per hour on a regular outlet. I recommend using the 16a (dryer outlet ) that will give you 10-15 miles a charged per hour . I have charged in very heavy rain and it worked great . The only down side is I wish it was a 24-32 a as the max . Other than that I would recommend to get this for the value that it worth it does get the job done . I still use it every night
