came in perfect condition, good size quite small and compact, very short cable but that works well for me. the hard drive itself vibrates like it has a fan in but only lightly. when plugging it in i noticed it is only 465GB instead of the advertised 500GB so bit let down about that. have not used yet but might update if i remember

I needed a storage device for photos and documents I have accumulated over the years, and after some consideration I decided to opt for this external hard drive. Firstly I am not a computer buff and to be honest not the most technically gifted person, so I wanted something simple to set up to transfer a number of files, folders mainly container years worth of pictures. its ultra slim and portable and it certainly is, weighing only some 150g and fits in my hand easily also my trouser pocket! Now as mentioned I only wanted this as a back-up so I wouldn't lose many old photos and files and I must say that downloading them on the the hard drive was simple and very fast, it took no time to do and every time I have wanted to get a file I just plug in and within seconds I can locate the file or pic I am looking for. It comes with a USB 3.0 lead and is as simple as plug in and play.

I bought the UnionSine External Hard Drive 1TB Ultra Slim Portable USB 3.0 and I’m very satisfied with it. The drive is lightweight, slim, and easy to carry — perfect for a laptop. The transfer speed via USB 3.0 is really good; files copy quickly without any issues. Setup was very simple — just plug and play, no extra installation needed. Another plus is the quiet operation and sleek design. Considering the price, the build quality is very good. The only downside is that it doesn’t come with a protective case, but that’s a minor issue. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and reliable external hard drive.

Writing this review more for the terrible customer service tbh. At this price I wasn't expecting much but the drive stopped working after about three weeks use. Annoyingly I didn't start using it till about a month after purchase so couldn't return it. My real gripe is that I contacted Unionsine customer service in China by email and got response after about two weeks. Wasn't expecting any response so not too bad at this point. They asked for what the fault was, order number, picture of device across three emails, each email taking them two weeks to send but they said it couldn't be repaired and would send a new one. Hard to complain at the price despite the lost data. From here on. Nothing, and it's been almost three months. I'd rather they said nothing than make me think they would actually send a replacement. UPDATE: Received a brand new replacement, day after this review, so amended rating. As mentioned wasn't expecting too much for the price.
