Great multi use 12V charger, covers most all battery types.
I have cars, trucks, lawn equipment and motorcycles that have standard flooded wet acid batteries, sealed AGM (gel) batteries and now I am starting to use the LifePo4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) in my motorcycles and yard equipment. I did not have a way to charge the LifePo4 batteries, so this charger gives me a single product solution that can move between all of my equipment with no fear of damaging the batteries. I find that the machines charging system will bring a LifePo4 to 80%-90% state of charge, so now and again I will punch the battery to 100% with this charger and you clearly see that 100% is achieved by pressing the button on the LifePo4 batteries built in battery management system (BMS) to light up the state of charge indicator. The charger is small/compact, affordable and very capable of maintaining all of my batteries with proper charge algorithms no matter the chemistry type.

Effective But Complex for Average User
The HTRC Car Battery Charger is a capable device that can handle charging 12V and 24V batteries across various applications like cars, motorcycles, and lawn equipment. However, its instructions leave something to be desired in terms of clarity and user-friendliness for the average consumer. While the charger functions as advertised, operating it requires more technical knowledge than one might expect. My husband was able to decipher the directions eventually, but I found the process quite challenging to navigate on my own. For those without much battery charging experience, the learning curve is fairly steep. The charger gets the job done, but the lack of straightforward guidance makes it a less than ideal choice for hassle-free use by non-experts.

Desulfator repair function restored my car battery
The auto charging is fine, but the impressive feature about this inexpensive charger is that it managed to desulfate and revive my car battery after several other chargers could not. I had a backup AGM car battery that was new but unused for a couple of years. I thought AGM batteries were able to hold their charge better so I did not routinely maintain this battery while it was stored. When it came time to install it, turned out it had sulfated and could not hold a charge. The battery kept going from full charge down to 8 v in a couple of days. My digital battery tester ruled it bad, below 20% of rated CCA and in need of replacement. I tried trickle charging, 10A charging, pulsing with 55A, auto charging -- none of it helped. But this charger with its repair function over 24 hours managed to restore the battery to 78% of rated CCA with internal resistance below 4 and a "good" rating per my battery tester. (FYI, the display readout was "PUL" which stands for "pulse charging". This readout was not listed in the owner's manual with the other readout explanations.)

Compact size/weight with fully automatic operation
I have a few batteries for the outdoor equipment that I need to maintain. It would also be nice to be able to charge car batteries if needed. At the same time, I wanted something fairly compact in size and weight so I can easily carry it around at take with me on the road. This charger looked exactly like that. I also appreciated its versatility in terms of battery types it can handle along with the fully automatic operation. You just need to plug it in, hook up to your battery, select the mode (motorcycle, standard, etc.) and the charger will do the rest for you. It can deliver up to 10A of current which os plenty for my needs (mostly small power equipment batteries). The very first thing I used it for was checking the lead-acid battery from my riding mower. I supposedly charged it with a solar charger but wasn’t entirely sure as that one is only 15W. The charger recognized the battery and confirmed it was nearly fully charged. It then adjusted the charging current down to just about 1A and topped it off. All took just a few minutes. So I’m now confident it works as described and a very good addition to any household.

GREAT SIZE
I like the small size of this unit, makes it easy to store. The digital readout is great you can actually see how far the battery is from being charged. It has different modes for different size batteries, it even has a repair mode on it for older batteries that has been setting up for a while. I put it on repair mode for a lawn mower battery that was in a mower that had been sitting in my yard for years with the battery in it, I took the battery out of it and used the repair mode on it and it charged it right up. Now using it on a riding lawn mower that we still use. It takes a little longer to charge your batteries on this mode, but it really works at a great value.

WARNING - Potential Fire Hazard!
I have to strongly recommend against this product. I have a lot of batteries and chargers and have the need to charge both 12 and 24 volt batteries. At first observation, this charger is not what I would consider high quality but battery charging isn't rocket science so I had high hopes for it. It only has one button to cycle between different modes. The modes are Motorcycle/ATV, Automobile, AGM/Wet Cell, and Repair. They are pretty self explanatory. I started by connecting it to several batteries that had already recently been charged so I knew they wouldn't take much to top off. As expected, the charger started up and the battery level indicator was near the top. The Amperage dropped down to about 1.4A indicating the battery was already almost full and after about 30 seconds, it went to FULL and shut off.So far, so good. I then tried it with an AGM battery, a wet cell battery and received pretty much the same results. On the fourth battery I tested, it went straight to full without much analysis which I thought was strange. I then went to a battery I knew needed charging and it also went straight to full. I also was hearing a popping sound coming from the plug where I had it plugged in. It was obviously arcing and popping. I unplugged it and tried another battery that it had previously worked fine on and it was still arching. It is apparent that something failed within the 4-5 minutes I was testing it and now it was not happy at all.I went ahead and tried it in another outlet and received the same result. I would not recommend this charger and believe if left alone and unattended it could present a major fire hazard. They should pull this product in my recommendation.
