Not likely to to job
Neither end of this adapter made a proper connection. The male end didn’t enter the truck far enough to latch, the female end had too much slop and allowed the trailer plug to unlatch and fall out. I threw it out.

Make sure your 7 pin round is not too deep.
Went to use it on a truck I bought that had 7 pin round plug. This adapter would not work because the screws half way down the plug that hold it together for the 7 pin side would not let me insert it all the way down into the 7 pin plug on my truck. Unfortunately My return date has passed.
