The interface takes some getting used to, as it's not a smart phone.... During setup, I had to force a factory reset as the unit was trying to update using a network connection it didn't have, and when I tried to connect it to my network, it immediately disconnected. The factory reset worked. I may have been trying to do too much too soon? There is a Gotcha, which drove me nuts, which was that despite the settings, the screen would go black requiring entering my passcode. It turns out that folding the lid flap of the case against the back was the cause. The magnet that holds the lid shut is a shade too powerful and is detected from the back of the unit. Leave the lid dangling and the issue goes away. Basically, I am rather pleased with this tablet. It has access to the play store. Download the free VLC media player, as this has no ads, though the interface is a shade testing. I recommend, and at the price, it suits me down to the ground.
