Alpinestars Nomex Calf Socks (Colour: Black, Size: Large)

Our friend is the stuntman and daredevil Antony Britton and last night he attempted the Guinness world record for a full body burn run without oxygen.At his attempt in September his socks failed and he was left with a large burn on his calf which became infected and required a lot of hospital support.Last night, he wore the socks we brought from you to run the record attempt again and......he succeeded. Now he holds two records longest body burn run 204m and the fastes 100m run.So, they do work and his legs were fine!Fire running is a very dangerous activity, only to be done by trained and supervised professionals like Antony. Don’t try anything like this yourself.

Great socks. Not too thick and not too thin.

Can't tell you how well they work in a fire, but they have the required rating. They appear to be finely crafted, but I don't like that they are practically knee high socks. I'd buy them again anyway.
