Okay for small dog or potty trained dog
We have an English bulldog puppy who’s pretty strong. He managed to flip it as it’s not very sturdy. Well before flipping it he pooped and lo and behold, poop everywhere. We got this in hopes to have a portable kennel to help with potty training and it just didn’t work. If you have a small pet or a potty trained pet, it could be useful

Good Option for Compact Storage
The set came with all items required to assemble the playpen, plus a storage/carry case.If you have assembled a tent, this concept is almost the same. After unfolding and unpacking the playpen, you put together each of the rods and slide them into the spots on the playpen. There are 8 main rod insertion points, two rods for each point. The quality is pretty good for a portable set. The canvas is thick, and varies between solid fabric and mesh hole fabric (to allow the pet to see, let light in).The item is advertised as a portable play pen. This item fits the description. However, I would say that it is more of a portable set for longer trips or for occasional use - more long term. I would not suggest doing a full setup and tear down for a quick hour trip to the park. It does take some time, and removing the poles can be a little challenging.I give the playpen a solid 4 stars. Works well as long as your expectations are properly set.

Good sturdy playpen but far from easily portable
I've used these types of playpens to keep our puppies in while we're out of the house and at night until they are housebroken. This one has some advantages. It's larger than most we've had and easily holds a bed, toys, and water dish. It's taller so the bigger puppies (btw we have small dogs) cannot climb or jump out. It's very sturdy and the zippers for the door and top are good quality. It was easy to assemble by inserting 8 rods vertically around the sides. The problem is disassembling it. The rods have 2 sections held together by an elastic string inside so they can be folded in half. When you try to pull them out they come apart and getting the lower section out is about impossible. I finally started pushing them out from the bottom while scrunching up the side material, kind of like getting the drawstring out when it disappears into your gym shorts waistband. But the worst problem is folding it up into the small circle to put it in the carrying bag. I read the directions, which weren't good, and looked at the pictures online. I tried for almost 30 minutes and finally gave up trying to get a pair of large rectangles to collapse into a small circle. I couldn't find a contact for the manufacturer to ask for a video or other help. Now I can't even fold it flat and transport it that way because trying to twist it into the circle has bent the light metal that's the frame inside the material. So if you want a playpen that you'll keep set up then this is a good product. If you want something to break down quickly and take with you there are better options.

Great Dog Playpen, very sturdy and our pup loves her new home!
Our Schnoodle pup (Schnauzer/Poodle) absolutely loves her new home! We keep our pup in a pen while working from home to make sure she has room to run around while still having a puppy pad underneath for any accidents that crop up. But we like to potty train while still having some type of "home" for the puppy to sleep in as it starts to teach them not to go where they sleep. This always works well for us but the octagon shaped pens we've used in the past don't hold up as well and are usually too large. They tend to get pulled over or knocked over and never have enough support to stay upright. This rectangle shape works much better though and with the included support poles, it stays upright and doesn't bend or fall over. This allows us to keep the playpen on one side of the dog pen for the puppy to sleep in with her bed and she has been doing great while using it.The space of the playpen is a decent size at 33"L × 24"W × 22"H with enough room for a puppy bed and a few toys. It does come with a convenient carrying case and is both lightweight and sturdy. It offers plenty of space and is easy to move around while also being able to fold flat for storage when not being used. The material itself is made of a high-grade cloth that stands up well to abuse and is easy to clean. We went with the pink color because our Schnoodle is a girl but also because we find the lighter colors easier to spot any accidents inside versus an all-black version. The playpen is washable too, which is a nice feature as it can start to get that "dog" smell over time. We also like the removable zipper top cover that is made of mesh and we fold it back so she can peek out the top when she's inside, so cute! There is also a velcro mesh door on the front that you can roll up when not needed which allows our pup to run in and out while playing, it has two velcro loops to keep it rolled up and out of the way, a nice feature. There are also pockets on the outside if you want to store items along with a bottle holder and tent stake holders if you wanted to stake it down in place while outside. The playpen is waterproof and leak proof so there's no worry if there is an accident, it is contained inside until you can clean up the mess. You can simply wipe the mess away or wash it off with soap and water and set it outside to dry which is very convenient feature, 5 Stars!

Mostly good - one important note
If you're like me, you may have gotten this with the idea that it would be nice for travel. And that's true, but you should know that it isn't a super quick assembly. You have to take each rod out to fold it up and then re-insert them. The rods do make it sturdier than some travel options, so it's probably worth it, but if you're going for pure convenience, then this may not be the one for you.I've also noticed that the zipper on the front door gets stuck a bit in a few spots. I'm hoping it doesn't break if I'm gentle with it.But I do like the design, and it didn't stink when I opened it, which is something I always wonder about with products like this. The dog also seems to think it's quite nice and hangs out in there just for fun.
