Makes great coffee!

At the the time for review this item retails for $14.99 USD for the small version.I own Keurigs and Nespresso and found myself needing a drip coffee for boutique/select coffee grains, this where this tool comes in.Pros- REALLY sturdy built, it's all metal for.the most part and it will definitely last- the base that hangs above the cup is nice and large, so no matter how wide your cup is, it will fit- Ideal for a single cup of coffee, 8-12Oz. You could do more but you will be pouring hot water forever as it does take some time to filter through- Includes a small "straw style" cleaning brushCons- it's much smaller than you think, I usually have a 16Oz mug in the morning and with this guy I have switched to a 10Oz- Fine mesh is great, filters MOST grounds. If you have a fine grind (like espresso) it will go through and end up in the cup- Brush is great for cleaning but cleaning isn't always easy, especially if some of the grinds fo through and stay stuck between the mesh filter and the outer structure of the filter itselfLooking at the value proposition I think youay be better off buying a drip coffee vessel and paper filters, likely cheaper and no grinds in your coffee. Plus, cleaning will be a breeze.

I love pour over coffee, when a person who knows how to make pour over coffee makes, which was not me until I received this pour over coffee dripper. When I made pour coffee before this, it was always cowboy coffee, with all the grounds in the coffee.This is so easy to use, I just heat up water, put my ground coffee in the dripper and slowly pour the water. I like that I was able to do this in the coffee cup and the cup was very stable, so I did not worry that the cup may tip over or spill.This pour over coffee dripper is really nicely made, it just has a high end feel. I use this almost every day, and it is easy to make more than one cup, I just clean up the dripper while my new water is boiling, it takes far less than five minutes and I have a really smooth cup of coffee. The pour over really is different from drip coffee. This is so convenient and easy to use. I feel so decadent with my fancy pour over coffee.

I picked this up after hearing how great coffee tastes when made with a pour over coffee dripper, but I was too busy to give it a try at first. It just seemed like too much work compared to pressing a button on my Keurig! And then—after this dripper sat on my counter for several weeks untouched—my Keurig broke, so I opened the package for this dripper, filled it with ground coffee, and poured boiling water over it.All I can say is: WOW!! It truly does taste AMAZING! It does take a few minutes of time, first to heat up the water (though I just stuck some water in the microwave for about 2 ½ minutes, and that did the trick for me), then to pour the water over the dripper. You have to do a little bit at a time and let the water filter through. That part only took maybe 30 seconds though, so not a big deal. The dripper sat easily on top of my coffee cup without me worrying about it tipping over. The material is solid, high-quality, very sturdy. It’s easy to clean and WELL worth the money. So very happy with this dripper!!

This was easy to clean, coffee filter mesh, that filters coffee perfectly for drip coffee. The mesh isnt fine enough to filter all coffee sediments, so you'll find best use if you use a paper filter on top of this.
