Great little Lidar device! Detects objects from 10mm to 2000mm. 2000mm is default distance. Easy to adjust distance. (See Procedure in Manual!) Output is an NPN digital output good for 3.3v to 5v logic compatibility. 5V to 24V operating voltage. No software or microcontroller required. You can communicate with it via serial data but it operates right out of the box with a digital output.
