I grow most of our veggies and herbs in my basement under lights, and many of my plants are 3 or more years old. My collard green plants are 3 years old, and were in 15 gallon pots that they outgrew. I was having to water the larger plant almost every day with 2-3 gallons of water. I knew the plant was pot bound and I had to find a larger pot for it. Since it was in a 15 gallon pot, I decided I had to pot it up into a 25 gallon pot to give it more room for grown. When I checked prices for a 25 gallon plastic pot, they were all priced at $100 and more for one pot. I found fabric pots at $32.99 for 5 pots, so my next challenge was to find saucers with an interior measurement larger than 22". This saucer is 22.7 inches at the base, and the fabric pot fit perfectly with over an inch all around to contain water drainage. For my purposes, this plant saucer is perfect. When choosing a plant saucer, you need to order one that has an interior measurement at least a couple inches larger than the base of your pot. All of the saucers sold show the exterior measurement as this one does - 25"-26". The interior measurement is always smaller. You need to choose a saucer that the interior measurement is larger so the pot fits and there is room for water drainage. This saucer works best for pots with a bottom diameter of 22" or less. UPDATE 07/12/25: As mentioned previously, I grow most of our veggies in our basement under LED lighting. Many of the vegetable greens plants such as many varieties of kale, broccoli, and collard greens can get very large. Although these plants are usually grown as annuals, when grown indoors they can live, and be productive, over 5 years. When these plants are rootbound they don't do as well and also require watering almost every day. I have bought a few 25 gallon plastic pots for some of these plants, and these plant saucers are large enough to hold these pots with a couple of inches around them to collect excess water. I have added a couple pictures of Red Russian kale and Collards that I recently move to 25 gallon plastic pots. I hope this review is helpful for you.

Perfect, nice deep black color, not faded or splotchy, doesn’t look cheap, feels sturdy. Made well. Satisfied with my purchase.

Very small, good quality though

These plant saucers ended up helping one of my plants way more than I expected. I had a plant that actually looked pretty lush and green, but the leaves were always droopy and it never seemed fully happy. After some trial and error I realized the issue wasn’t overwatering — it was the opposite. When I watered it, a lot of the water would immediately drain through the pot and onto my floor, so the soil wasn’t staying hydrated long enough. Once I added one of these saucers underneath, the difference was noticeable. The saucer catches the excess water and allows the plant to slowly absorb what it needs instead of losing it right away. Within a short time the plant perked up and looks much healthier and more upright. I included before and after photos — now my baby is thriving!!! The saucers themselves are simple but sturdy, and they do a great job protecting floors while also helping maintain better moisture for plants that need it. Sometimes the smallest change in plant setup makes the biggest difference, and for me these saucers did exactly that.

I have these in the front and back yard. Every bird, squirrel, raccoon, fox, coati, and cat uses these. They ate beautiful and sturdy. What a great price too. The best purchase.

I love this tray, the sturdiness and thickness is very good. I just wish I had got a bigger size for my 10 gal bags that's 18 inch wide . And I can't return it, pass my day.
