best of the bunchg so far
I've tried a few of these as my partner got surgical work done on her elbow, and by far that is the best of the ones I tested. The seal ring adapts smoothly without gaps or trying to strangle your arm, the plastic is thick but not too thick to grasp things from within, and the hand/forearm slides without a problem to the proper position. Highly recommended if you're in need of one of these

Does it’s job
After breaking my wrist and having a cast fitted I ordered this cover to keep my cast dry when I shower. The cover does the job and keeps my cast dry, I have struggled to get it over my cast with 1 hand so I’ve had to enlist the help of my wife.I’ve taken to not using it everyday as it’s easier to just keep my arm away from the water my cast stops before my elbow so it’s easier for me than if you had a higher cast.

for impending elbow operation (female)
This arm cover seems pretty good, the length is about right for a female, the seal is a scuba fabric and seems as though it will do a pretty decent job of keeping a fair bit of water out (with some care!).I'm not sure it would work so well on a man if he has well built upper arms though, the seal may be just a little bit too tight.

Essential for Showering with a Cast
I recently aquired this waterproof cast cover after my partner broke his arm, and it has been an absolute game-changer. He was struggling with trying to keep his cast dry during showers, and this cover has made the process so much easier. The seal is incredibly tight, ensuring no water seeps in, which is crucial for keeping the cast dry and clean. Initially, I had to help him put it on due to the snug fit and his limited mobility, but after a few days, he managed to do it himself without any issues. The cover is made from sturdy plastic that feels durable and looks like it will last through the duration of his recovery. The design covers from the hand all the way up to the upper arm, providing comprehensive protection. It's also very comfortable to wear, with a stretchy seal that doesn't dig into the skin. This product has truly been a lifesaver, allowing my husband to shower comfortably and safely without worrying about his cast. Highly recommend for anyone with a similar need!

Waterproof cast protector
This is a must have if you have a broken arm. A waterproof cover to enable you to get bathed or showered while keeping your cast nice and dry. Very easy to fit just slide it over the cast and the cuff will keep it in position and the water out. Worked brilliantly. It is big but better that way as absolutely no struggling to get it on. A great product that is fit for purpose.

Not appropriate as a PICC cover
I wanted this to cover my PICC when I was showering. I hadn’t paid enough attention and thought it was the small tube that you put your arm through. Instead I received a ridiculously huge plastic boot shaped thing. I can see that this would probably be ok if you had your arm in a full cast but it’s far too big for someone who just has a PICC line in.When I took it off after the shower there was a small puddle of water at the elbow so it wasn’t completely waterproof.

Pre-shaped to accommodate bent arm
This is very good for its intended purpose. True, it does seem rather spacious but this allows for use by people of different sizes sporting different casts. It does the intended job and is robust enough to last the six weeks that is usually required for healing to take place. This is a much better option than the DIY solution of plastic bag and elastic bands!

Very tight seal
My wife recently broke her wrist and is currently bandaged from hand to elbow and waiting to be put in a cast. This lets her shower without soaking the bandages because it covers her arm right up to the upper arm.The seal is pretty good, in fact such a snug fit that I had to help her put it on for the first couple of days while the injury was still painful. This has been a real life-saver; so much easier than trying to shower with one arm sticking out of the curtain!
