Mitre Ultimatch Hyperseam Match Football (Old Version)

This football was actually pretty good at first. It had a good bounce and was made of good materials (at least I thought) but then after a couple of days, it burst. I didn’t demote it lower than 4 stars as I may have just received a faulty one. Apart from it bursting, it was a good football.Use:We used it often to play football and when compared to other cheaper balls, it was great. There was good bounce in it and it is made of good quality materials.Style:This football looks great. I love the white, black and orange design. It makes it look like a more premium one.Brand:Mitre is reliable when it comes to footballs and this one is no exception. That is not very much to pay for a good quality football like this. You could easily spend 20£ on a more expensive one which is almost twice the price and it probably wouldn’t be much better. What a seriously deadly football for the price. Just so goodto work with, it feels very easy to control the ball in shooting and passing. If you have been buying adidas and nike balls at 20 odd pound i would say this is at least twice as good as those balls. AT LEAST. Don't waste money on another one of those type of balls. Buy this. Its honestly such a step up that its hard to believe how good value this ball is. Would recommend it a hundred times over at this price point. It would even make some more expensive balls from those aforementioned companies look silly. Its the level of control, durability and just general ease of use and comfort that make this the only choice at this price whilst out-competing balls twice the price. This ball is great, honestly, great. At a laughable price. I cant even stress enough just how much better this ball is than others that are supposedly in the same price range and even higher up the pyramid. You won't even lose much if you try this and somehow dont like it (i swear to god you will feel how good this ball is when you use it... CONTROL). You will like it. If you don't i just really would not understand how, this is THE cheap football to buy. I just can't guys, you need to buy it, because it really is spectacular for this price.

Didn't hate this item when I bought it, Quite the contrary. Just Really Disappointed with this it. Used it once a week over 5 months, so not exactly over-worked the football in question. but, It has quite suddenly ripped _ and not along the (hyper)seam. I've used Mitre footballs for over 30 years and never had this happen. Ever. Its about a 3 inch gash and there's not scuff marks around it. As I say, extremely disappointing from someone who has only ever bought Mitre footballs.

These balls are tip top .... trialled two and now have 5 which me and my son use for his training! They’ve all held their shape pretty well all year and no seam splits etc yet but then we do look after them. These are size 4 (same size as he plays/trains with) and being bright yellow they have thus far been easily distinguishable from all the other ‘similar looking’ balls flying around the park - so no ownership disputes! Del next day - replaced one FOC I didn’t like the look of and wasn’t 100% confident with. No complaints at all.

This is a fantastic ball for the price and very well made. (I paid £10.40) Bargain in my eyes.The texture of the leather is great and has good grip which is great for controlling the ball.I have played 2 competitive league games with this ball and scored twice, the type of goals I had scored is were you strike the ball cleanly with power and the ball stays hit and goes exactly were you intend it to go which is what you want in a good ball and this is exactly what this mitre ball does. These mitre balls hit with power and precision are superb, so hoping to score a few more with it.Highly recommended for 11 a side league games in good leagues (amateur or below) that like to pass the ball around and have players that can hit shots with accuracy and power.

We play football twice a week on 4g and are always looking for good footballs. The old Ultimatch balls were pretty good but they did have a tendency to get heavy after playing in the wet. The new ones are sealed with Hyperseam (Fancy pants!) so we have not had that issue. The ball feels like it is the perfect weight and has enough friction not to skid about on a slick wet surface. All in all for the price I personally don’t think they can be beaten. If only we could stop our players from punting them over the fence onto a railway line!

I bought this ball back in October for my club. I only just inflated it as it was a back up until recently. Unfortunately, it's warped and raised in two separate areas so the ball doesn't roll smoothly. unusable.Can't find a link to discuss the faulty product, seems as though I'm stuck with it.

I run an adult 5 a side team and play weekly on a 60/40 4G outdoor pitch. Choosing balls have always been a problem but this Mitre ball so far really seems to fit the bill.At first the dimpled feel seems a bit strange and almost cheap, but it actually plays extremely well. Has a soft touch, stay as clean and seems quite durable. One of the three balls ordered had a raised seam but sent it back and refunded no problem.Will definitely get some more.
