I use this to share peripherals across two different computers. It's hooked up to a Lenovo docking station that has my keyboard, wireless headset, webcam, and a few other things plugged in. Everything works nicely and the button allows for quick and hassle free peripheral sharing.

Great little device for sharing a webcam between two PCs

I use mine to join 2 laptops to one printer. Sometimes the printer doesn't behave on our wifi and it's a business printer. The switch works great, is easy to use and makes it easy for us to work without delays. Made of formed plastic but doesn't feel cheap.

I needed the ability to have Android Auto and a USB port for flash drive ,with mp3 music ,readily available simultaneously. This product allows me to switch back and forth...perfect!

This design uses a two-state button that clicks in and out like a pen, which is smart for cost savings since no chips or circuitry are required for software switching. The problem is that the operation of this device becomes very reliant on this mechanical device being able to hold either the up or down state and close the circuits reliably, and it does not because the switch is a very cheap part. It became difficult to keep set to the second input (with the button clicked in) within the first month and completely stopped being able to switch by the fifth. I would recommend a product with a momentary button and software switching, a few examples of which are already sold (you'd think there would be better options in general, but for some reason this "not-a-KVM" style device is strangely underrepresented).

This little device is a grey solution if you have more than one computer that you would like to use the same Logitech mouse and key board for. I no longer have to switch out the dongle.

Wanted to have access to my Stream Deck on both pc, this does it perfectly.

I was eagerly awaiting this product and finally received it today. I connected it to both an Asus and a Dell laptop via a docking station. However, the Dell laptop wouldn’t connect through the USB-A port. I wasn't about to let something I’d waited so long for not work, so I tried using a USB-A to USB-C adapter. It connected, but only intermittently. I thought maybe the Dell wasn’t compatible.Then, by chance, I swapped the cables, and suddenly the Dell displayed perfectly, while the Asus started having intermittent issues. After further testing, I realized that one of the cables was faulty right out of the box. I decided to contact the seller for a replacement cable, but I was met with the frustration of Amazon’s repetitive automated responses, with no way to directly reach the seller.Determined not to give up, I partially plugged the connector into the switch (see circled connection in image), and now both devices are working stable. Seller, if you’re reading this, I need a new data cable or a replacement device if necessary. I can't return the product until I receive the replacement, as I'm currently using it despite the defect.Note: Rated 2 stars due to the inability to contact the seller and receiving a defective product right out of the box. I’ll happily update my rating to five stars if the issue is resolved.

The switch stopped working after 4 months When I connect any USB device, the lights are turned off and there is no connection between the laptop/pc and USB device
