Beautiful design, excellent for home/garage gym.
Beautiful design. I got the red color! Excellent machine for home use. It does have a significant footprint, so make sure you make your measurements before buying. I got this for very good price (2025 Thanksgiving/Christmas discount). I have used it for the 3 exercises so far. Seated Leg Extension, Lying Leg Curl, and Standing single leg curl. All worked great. It's tricky, make sure you see the instruction manual and YouTube videos to know the different set up of seat cushion and backrest of each of these 3 different exercises. I have seen YouTube video of a guy doing hip thrusts with this machine, I don't recommend that, it's not designed for this and the movement is not stable and safe if you do hip thrusts. Assembly is easy, took me about an hour and a half and I am not a handyman at all. The machine is stable on the ground, specially after you add on your weight plates. There were minor scratches and dents (see pictures) out of the box, not a big deal and does not affect machine operation. The seat (3 different positions) and the backrest (2 different positions) have some wiggle and they don't lock in place 100%, not sure if this is by design but again not a big deal. The lysing (horizontal) leg curl, is little tricky and you need to adjust the foot pad position and figure out where to position your hip on the V-hinge to make it effective. Notice that you may have to use lighter weights than you think because this position really isolate the hamstrings and you are not using any secondary muscles in the move. I noticed that my weight plates collar clamps (standard) do not fit tight on the weight bar in this machine which is kinda annoying but also not a big deal because in the box they include collar springs which does the job in keeping the plates in place. According to their specs, we can load up to 350 lb per side, that's a weight most of us will not reach! but I think up to 200 lb per side will be safe and stable on this machine, I mean remember this is designed for home use, not commercial us. The movements of foot pad is smooth and I don't see issues with it.

Impressive Quality at Any Price Point
I have been thoroughly impressed by this GMWD Leg Extension/Curl Machine. This is my first purchase from this brand, but very likely not my last (looking at you Leg Press). No reason to go too long winded on it, so I’ll just mention the highlights and the one “issue” I encountered. Pros: • Overall Quality: from paint, components, steel gauge, to smoothness, this thing is top notch. I am a welder by trade and every weld is respectable. They appear to be done by hand and you can tell the same people are doing them (it’s very consistent between components). Some of them aren’t the most beautiful I’ve ever seen, but there’s no undercut and I have no problem trusting the durability. • Shipping/Packing: this thing is heavy, but it survived my local FedEx completely unscathed (impressive). They have all the left/right labeled, but they also packed them in color coded bubble wrap which was a nice touch. There were no paint imperfections or damage from shipping. • Assembly: I had this thing together in around 45 minutes without any assistance. There’s only 1 step early on that a second set of hands could be helpful, but just prop the swing arm up on your shoulder w/ some of the bubble wrap from padding and you can attach the 3 bolts. They give you all the tools you need, but a ratchet and a couple sockets will expedite the entire process. Cons: • This is the smallest complaint, but still worth mentioning. One of my leg pads was pressed up against something during shipping and the foam appears to be permanently creased on one side (see photo). Maybe these could be encased in a cardboard box or something? • Multiple Hex Sizes: once again, a weird and tiny complaint, but they used 3 different hex key sizes to assemble. They provide the hex keys, but they’re all similar sizes and it just seems like some of these could’ve been matched up to simplify the process a little. They could’ve packaged the nuts/bolts together by step, just to simplify it even further. Overall, super impressed with this GMWD and it really has me interested to see some of the higher quality line of products they offer. Note: my review images were edited using AI, but nothing was edited on the equipment, only the backgrounds.

Great Machine
Overall, the total machine is great. 11 gauge steel, built like a tank. 1st major issue: On several post there are deep scratches, noticeable from a distance. The box was undamaged and it was packed adequately, so I would say, poor quality control. 2nd major issue is unequal leg positions. No matter how close you make the adjustment, they are still asymmetrical with each other. (Not sure if this develops the muscles differently, but having 1 inch distal leverage on one leg vs the other would seem likely) The 3rd issue, but not major: The seat has slack in it, so you get the rocking horse effect. I would have either added a locking pin or made the original hole smaller. Otherwise, the machine is great. Up to 350 per leg Individual extensions or simultaneous extensions , Individual standing reverse leg curls or flex Individual extension or simultaneous laying curls.
