Fantastic tool for making the perfect sourdough loaf! I don't know why I waited so long to buy these. I have gone through roll after roll of parchment paper and these mats are so much easier and more efficient. No paper to throw away, and a quick rinse and they are clean and ready for the next use. They fit perfectly in my dutch oven and make it so easy to get the loaf out of the pan and onto a cooling rack. The bottom of the loaf browned up perfectly.

I frequently bake bread in a dutch oven. If I use parchment paper to line the pot and lift it out after baking it doesn't work because the paper chars and disintegrate. This sling works perfectly. It is very easy to lift the bread out of the pot without burning yourself. Great product.

I bought these to see if they are as good as others say they are for bread baking. I use them to lower and lift my sourdough loaves from the dutch oven I bake them in. I had been using parchment paper, which works fine but does get wrinkled when I set the dough into the oven. It also scorches (but doesn't burn). This looked like a neater and easier way to do my bread baking. I would rest the bread dough on top of the mat during its final proofing and then lift and set both down into the preheated dutch oven and then into my regular oven for baking. Once done, using pot holders I lift the sling and the cooked bread out of the dutch oven and over to a cooling rack. I turns out it was easy to use, made lifting and setting the dough into the dutch oven very easy. I was able to let the edges of the mat rest outside the pot when I placed the cover on. It worked very well. The bread baked as well this way as it did using parchment paper. I found it easier to use than the parchment paper...plus it's easy to clean and is reusable. I recommend this product.

This kit makes baking sourdough a breeze! The slings hold the bread beautifully and wash clean easily after use. They hold my standard sized loaves, both round and oval in my 5 quart Dutch oven. I recommend them to everyone now! And the small black rubber scraper was something I didn't know I needed and now wonder how I went so long without it!

Good quality, helps get bread from bowl to dutch oven for baking. I think it helps keep bottom from over browning, also. Well made, easy to use.
