Yes for chickens, no for ducks
These were the perfect size for my 1 week old Swedish ducks and 5 week old heavy mix chickens (I think that's what age I switched my chickens to this size). These have worked well for my chickens, but I wouldn't recommend for ducks. First off, the orange and the pink are hard to distinguish from a distance or even close up in certain lights. I can't tell the difference at all in the building I keep my Broder boxes in. Luckily I realized this before putting them on and I just used orange for my first batch of chickens and pink for the next so I wouldn't get them confused. With the ducks, all the extra water they managed to get their feet into changed some of the colors. The blue, for instance, ended up looking like a mucky green. They also all lost their bands before they grew out of them. The bands seemed to get weak until they just broke off. This didn't happen with the chickens, just the ducks. I will continue using these with chickens as that seemed to work quite well.
