The item was delivered very quickly, as promised and was easy to install both cameras quickly. The camera quality is very clear and it is easy to adjust the camera angles within the app in real-time with a simple slide of your finger. It is also great to be able to see all cameras in Live mode at the same time in the app. As it has only been less than 24-hours since the cameras have been installed, I cannot say anything regarding longevity of the cameras yet. The night vision view is incredibly clear and I had actually check that the back lights were not on, as the camera is so clear even without lights, both inside and outside of the house. I had read some comments about the motion sensors being very sensitive even when set to low and I would agree that this is accurate; over night I had received 47 notifications that motion was detected in the backyard with only one even resembling a person. Since we haven’t set up the cloud service yet, I cannot yet confirm if it was actually a person or a very up close image of a bug though. On the same night, the in house camera was only triggered once for motion, I expect this was possibly a curtain moving though, as no one should be in the home and all of the fans and air systems have been turned off. Once I have more experience with the app and cloud service I will update my review to reflect any positive or negative results. So far, I can only say the cameras work well, have great clarity and were very affordable and easy to get working.

This is a very interesting outdoor security camera. I had to return because the fixture I intended to install the camera in is the wrong type for this type of camera. My fixture has glass cover all around the lamp (in this case camera) and therefore there was too much reflection at night that the camera could not show anything. Otherwise setup is easy, it has a great field of view, etc. Excellent camera.

It works pretty well during the day and/OR indoors. Now i can watch my dog in the backyard. It allows for camera control through the app, and a 2way audio feature that isn't the best; Audio IN is decent with the exception of an inconsistent delay, but is significantly better than the Audio OUT, where you only hear one of every 3 words, and if anywhere within visible Range of the camera, Forget about it. A shrieking noise that makes you wonder if someone is going to call and tell you that you only have 7 days left to live. But.. it's better than nothing. My main issue personally was my intended purpose of both being an outdoor security camera AND still work as a lightbulb; considering since it's replacing the outdoor light that would have been there otherwise.. I guess I just was expecting an option to keep the light on at all times, you know to act like a lightbulb. But after connecting with customer service, I was told it really doesnt have any option to remain turned on. Instead, the light just constantly changes from on to off to on to off all night long. Extremely annoying that i can't get the light to just stay ON all night, as if it were an actual lightbulb.. So it flickers all night long for all the neighbors to get annoyed at also, and I can't even keep it in turned off mode either, unless i put it in standy "private" mode, which is the same thing as just turning the switch off so that there's no light at all, and no camera feature. Picture quality is decent when using for indoor or during the day. I still can't say much if you're looking for an outdoor nighttime security camera, but customer service was very responsive. Depending on your specific needs, for the price this cam is pretty good value. I have not yet found any (in same price range) that have the ability to actually serve its purpose as the porch light And be a security camera.

Camera is easy to use and image is very clear

I do not write many reviews (but I love answering product questions, since I use the Amazon Q&A ALL the time). But this camera deserves special mention. The tech works just fine. I kept expecting something "to not quite work as advertised." But, no, it all worked as advertised. My unit is mounted on our garage, about 60 feet from our basement-sited router. The camera reports 27% signal strength on the 5GHz band. My Macbook Pro struggles with that band at that distance outside. Picture quality is not that of an iPhone, of course, but is quite adequate. You can zoom in (optical) on an image or a recording just like you do on a phone image. Unlike some other reviewers, I had no problem with audio quality. I don't use motion tracking but I verified that it does indeed track motion. Nor do I use human-body detection since we are most interested in keeping an eye on *anything* interacting with our garage (car, human, bird, feline, rodent...). So the hardware is a bargain, but the icing on the cake is the UI. Very intuitive, very thoughtful. What fun manually panning the camera from afar and listening to birds, squirrels, people etc. as they chitter in the back alley. I have it set to record and alert only on significant motion. Useful to reduce visual noise like tree shadow motion. We opted for a 128Gb SD card (that is the max memory it can use) and opted not to use fee-based cloud storage. It will take months to fill that card with motion-event triggered recordings (once full, recording "rolls over" to start at the beginning and requires no user interaction). The playback feature is a standout: you see a timeline with blue markers indicating time-of-day for each recording. As you swipe-right it jumps to the next record in the time sequence and starts playing. Everything works out of the box. If you are considering a different model, try to learn something about the UI. It makes all the difference between a fair product and a really good one. This one is really good.
