The smell is great! The pumpkin spice is warm and cozy, but it only lasts about a week before you have to hold the jar upside down to rehydrate the string and cork for more scent. I ordered it because it’s a cute, different freshener and it does look great as opposed to traditional cardboard tree cutouts. Very easy to use and set up, and as long as you don’t set it up and leave it upside down it shouldn’t leak. I didn’t have this issue anyway.

Don’t buy!!! I bought these based on great reviews and the smell was great for a few weeks until the cork came out of the bottle (randomly - not being touched or anything) and the oil spilled all over my dash and leather seats. Fortunately I was in the car and wiped it up but I missed a bit and what I missed ate away the coating on my dashboard. Hopefully this review helps others from wrecking their cars!!!

It smells lovely!! like the good kind of warm vanilla, not the artificial one. However the scent isn't very strong, it does not last long. But if you're sensitive to strong fragrances this should do!
