Heavy duty car harness
Very well made, and durable. A bit fiddly to get used too and adjust but this isn’t a problem once you’ve used it few times. Wish I’d bought the size down as my dog was on the size border but it fits okay on the smallest strap setting. My dog gets tangled in the seat belt regularly by turning around so I’ve got to keep a close eye. Not really the harnesses fault but annoying.

Really like it as a car harness, not for regular use
I got this and had a really hard time adjusting it. I eventually did. I am not worried it will loosen up because of how hard it is to adjust. I like how my dog can lay down and sit up in the seat, and is sleek car device that is successfully crash tested. I was using it as her daily harness since my dog does in a car everyday because she goes to dog day care. The stiffness of the device which is needed probably to make it work as a car safety device rubs my dogs fur and skin, it is really irritated. I will use it in the car, just not outside of it.

The only safe harness for dogs!
I've spent weeks researching online for the best car harness for my pooch and what was my surprise when I discovered that most of them are not actually designed to protect the dog only the passengers from being hit by a flying dog in case of an accident! I watched numerous crash tests and this is the ONLY harness I managed to find that actually passed a crash test!It is very dear, but what is the price tag on your best friend life? I doubt it would be a £100... I've read a lot of reviews for this harness and some of the imperfection are true. The little reflective line started to come off quite quickly and it is not really a walking harness as the stripes do come loose. Having said that the true job for this harness is not to be a walking-reflective harness, so it doesn't really bother me. The item is not only solid, but also beautifully made with attention to details.I have a dog that is spot on 28'', 25kg cross bread (something between a lab, a pointer and a collie), he's a little in between M and L size, so I ordered the L one and that was the right decision. The harness does keep him in place, even though he was never the type that jumps on you when you drive, he still does like to stand up and in times before the harness he would be all over the back of the car if we had to turn or break suddenly. Sometimes he can be a little girl pretending he can't move because of the harness, but I noticed he's making that up. Sometimes I would pull out the seat belt, so it doesn't put any pressure on him and he would still pretend he can't move. I think there are extensions that can be added that would help, if anyone else have a silly dog like me. I'm a little unsure however how would that work for a smaller dog, that doesn't have enough strength to pull the seat belt (that wouldn't be the harness fault obviously). I think for a small dogs it's just better to get the sleepypod pet bed (also passed the crash test).

No doubt a great product but much too large
I measured my dog, a Staffordshire bull terrier, and ordered accordingly. The item arrived promptly but when adjusted to its smallest hung off him and wouldn't have been safe to use at all. Such a pity as it looked well made and sturdy and I can't find many others like it. I can only think that the wrong size was put on the item, my dog is a standard sized male Stafford.

Easy to fit, easy to use, sturdy and keeps our dog safe!
We have never used a harness before as all our dogs traditionally traveled in the back of the hatchback or in the back of the estate car, as most other dogs do. We knew it would be better to use a good safe travel harness so we researched and bought Sleepypod. It is robust but not hard, padded around the chest and neck so comfortable, the clips and fittings are sturdy and it is easy to thread the seat belt through the handles. Yes you have to learn how to do this, but anyone who has ever had a child will remember how initially you struggle with a car seat! Our Cocker Spaniel happily wears this for travel (not for dog walks) and can sit or lie down easily while remaining secure. We bought the Medium size, he weighs 14kilos aprox. We then only used it for long journeys, until recently when a friends car was hit, and spun over the road and the boot smashed into a tree - she was unharmed but the boot was crushed and her poor little dog (who was loose in the hatchback) got thrown about and broke his back. Our dog now always travels in his harness. "Click Clunk every trip" applies to our best doggie friends too.

Not very happy
Well being a most expensive harness on the market (also my suggestion, that you can find it for a better price, from manufacture website for a around 20% less )However, talking about harness itself. If you dog (like mine) stretching it a lot, it will finally end up releasing a bit. it's not easy and straight forward to get it on. and it's for SURE,not comfortable for wearing for a walks, as manufacture stating. Interesting point, that reflective line, on the harness will come off within few days of use, and will be looking very odd. However, you buy most expensive car harness not for fashion purposes, but to keep your furry friend SAFE, and according to the crash tests it's a very good harness for it's safety purposes. I hope, that issues with a poor reflective material can be solved, by simply asking for a replacement from a manufacture.
