If you like brown butter you will LOVE this brand of Ghee in the Original flavor !!!
I noticed comments about the smell of the Ghee. If you have ever made brown butter (saute butter until the sugars caramelize and it turns slightly brown), that is what you are smelling and tasting. That lovely flavor will come through on toast and in cooking and baking. It is marvelous. This is the best brand I have found. I gave it a 4 on value only because it is still quite expensive BUT it is worth it. The texture stays pretty much at easily "spreadable" and not runny in a normal 72ish temperature room. The aroma, taste and texture did not change in over 10 days on the counter.I used it for sauteing, roasting, baking, garnishing, finishing, in and on potatoes etc and it performed just as advertised. If you think it doesn't smell like butter, you are correct. It smells like BROWN BUTTER and for me, that is a good thing. It is not spoiled as some have implied. If you have never made brown butter I would encourage you to check out a Youtube video on how to do it and give it a try. It isn't really hard but having that wonderful flavor readily available and at the right consistency is worth the price. I plan to try the other flavors. The order was shipped promptly from Terrific Deal Inc as promised and arrived perfect.

It Doesn't Burn!
I bought this because I recalled that ghee is lactose free (my menfolk are sensitive to lactose) - I used to live in a community where Indian ingredients were cheap, but ghee is not so easy to find where I live now. So it's pricey, but at least I can easily order a reputable brand from Amazon. The smoke point is really high on this stuff - over 480F (regular butter around 300 to 350F, olive oil 320 to 400F). It melts very quickly, yet it doesn't burn! I cooked fish fillets in a skillet with a little of this ghee; there wasn't enough room in the pan for all of the fish and with most cooking oils, I would have to clean the pan and use fresh oil for the second batch of fish but I didn't have to start over with the ghee since it hadn't burned and smelled fine. A little of this goes a long way for sautéed dishes and for greasing bakeware so I'll be ordering more when I start getting low.

Most clean tasting ghee I’ve come across
This is my go-to ghee. It’s very clean tasting, with nutty, buttery undertones. It is not butter and doesn’t have a strong butter flavor, but when used for cooking or on veggies it is very good. Highly recommend.

The texture and flavor of this product is WOW!
I had purchased this product before and really liked it. Recently, because I forgot the name of this product I triedanother brand. I hate to say it but it reminded me of cows! I know that it is made from the milk of cows, however it does not have to (how can I say) make one feel that the cow is right there also. It does not create that smell of one. I will never buy another brand, and make sure that the name of this Ghee is in my to buy book always.

Good product, horrible price
Been using this for years and it is very good, but, Amazon is way out of line on this one, price wise.

I Love This Stuff...
the fresh nutty, sultry flavor is better than butter, and a little goes a long way. I cook with this instead of oil and butter. It's only 45 calories per teaspoon and has half the fat of oil and butter, plus it doesn't need to be refrigerated. The only draw back is the price, but I'm hooked. I have tried to return to butter, but it's not the same. The flavor just isn't there.

I am allergic to milk solids, so this is a great way to season food.
Very expensive, but does not contain soy like other, cheaper brands.
