Hokc Antey-3
The Antey-3 fixed was my choice after returning the Cougar which was also a fine knife, but I realized that folding knives just are not for me. The Antey is by no means a subtle knife one could carry without notice. Its a formidable blade, well made, shaving sharp out of the box, and the rubber handle makes for an excellent grip. I appreciate the large finger choil which allows for more precise control making delicate cuts. The only possible drawback is the knife thinning out so much to the spear point leaves it prone to breaking, but that is just as much my fault as I am very hard on my knives and throw all of them at some point. So my Antey is 1cm shorter with a improvised tanto point and its absolutely fantastic as a half spin thrower. I will be buying more hokc fixed blades in the future. You should too. But beware the counterfeits abound on Amazon. Make sure buy from the authorized seller.

Knife is Nice but light AUSA 8 but the sheath? Not so much
The media could not be loaded. So I have plenty of the folding knives from this particular maker and there are some of the best ones that I have for the price. Found out they started making fixed blades so I tried some of these The decision to go with a nylon with a plastic insert was a bad idea. Thermoplastic or kydex would have made this one a full five stars as you can see in the picture there's just a plastic insert that is just pushed into the nylon sheath it's not even secured with glue or anything else because the insert is not formed to the blade but only for the length, the knife rattles even when strapped in and snapped down. I'm going to have to give it a few days to see whether or not I'm going to keep it or send it back. It was very least have the insert these shaped to the thickness and shape of the blade. In short if you don't snap this down every time you put it back in the sheath you will lose this knife it will fall out somewhere

Nice Stainless Hunting Knife with Carrying Case
This is a very nice, well balanced hunting knife with case. Here's my review:BLADE: the dimensions of the knife are detailed in the listing but the blade appears to be a full tang stainless blade. It is well balanced and runs the length of the handle. It is secured by two allen head bolts. The knife comes very sharp with an edge you would expect on this kind of knife.HANDLE: the handle is thermoplastic rubber (TPR) and is a little stiff for my liking but certainly a durable material built for outdoors. I find the handle to be mostly comfortable in the hand (med glove or size 8 for me). Design seems to be a bit more universal and I would expect it to be good for most. Almost no gaping between the handle and the blade so no chance of debris or water seeping in.TASKS: This is a nice overall outdoor knife. I can see this being a good all around field dressing knife useful in all weather conditions. I would also consider using for fire prep/shelter but probably not great for scaling.SHEATH: This is probably the low point of hte knife with a very uninspiring sheath. It's canvas and the blade insert is actually nice. My issue is with the snaps at the top that secure the knife - they are difficult to snap and perhaps a little too short making it difficult for the snaps to reach each other. The knife didn't come snapped in place and I'm guessing it's because it's challenging. Wish that was a bit better but not a deal breaker. Loop for belt attachment is big enough for leather belt.Overall I think this knife is a really good knife, especially as an introductory knife. NOt super high end but will get the job done.

Exquisite knife with a meh sheath.
Top-tier quality knife with a subpar sheath. The craftsmanship on the knife is very, very good. The knife came very sharp and holds an edge even after cutting wires with it. The handle feels great in the hand and indexes perfectly when using. The big downside is the sheath. Why build such an exquisite knife and put it to bed in a loose-fitting, poorly stitched, and very noisy sheath? I would have loved to make this beautiful knife my daily driver but couldn't stand the noise it makes flopping around in its holder. After one day of carrying, the top retaining strap ripped loose from the rest of it.

Solid, Reliable, and Built for the Outdoors
The HOKC Antey-3 Tactical Knife has exceeded my expectations in both performance and build quality. As someone who spends a lot of time camping and hiking, a dependable knife is essential, and this one ticks all the boxes.Pros:High-Quality Steel: The blade is made from D2 stainless tool steel, which holds its edge remarkably well and offers excellent corrosion resistance. It's sharp right out of the box and hasn’t needed much maintenance after several trips.Sturdy Handle: The TPR (thermoplastic rubber) handle provides a firm, non-slip grip even in wet conditions. It feels solid in the hand, giving you full control without discomfort during extended use.Glass Breaker: The glass breaker on the pommel is a smart addition for emergency situations. While I haven’t needed it yet, it’s great to have that peace of mind, especially for vehicle-based adventures.Perfect for Camping & Hunting: It performs equally well at cutting rope, prepping food, and even light batoning. The weight and balance are ideal for outdoor survival tasks.Cons:Sheath Could Be Better: While the knife itself is outstanding, the included sheath feels a bit basic. It does the job, but I would’ve preferred a more premium option for secure carry and long-term durability. Not Lightweight: This isn’t a compact or ultra-light knife—more of a full-sized, robust tool. Not a con if you’re looking for heavy-duty performance, but something to note for ultralight backpackers.Overall:If you’re looking for a rugged, high-performing knife for tactical, camping, or hunting purposes, the HOKC Antey-3 is a fantastic option. It’s built like a tank, extremely sharp, and ready for any outdoor challenge. Definitely a tool you can rely on in the wild.
