Sport Ridge 14 Piece .357/38SPL/9MM Pistol Cleaning Kit, (03963)

This is a very good cleaning kit, and I've used it about 5-6 times so far.There are only a few downfalls, but they aren't horrible. First, the metal rod (in the middle of the picture) rotates oddly while it's all screwed together, and it makes it a bit wonky dealing with when cleaning a barrel.The rod with the point (lower right on the picture) doesn't seem to really have a good use, at least not that I can find. I've tried using it to get into tight spaces, and it kinda works, but not great.With that said, you probably won't use everything here when you're cleaning, but the stuff is there in case you need it. It's an awesome investment, and the durability seems good.

Awesome field cleaning kit. Now this item does NOT provide everything you need to leave your gun immaculate BUT it does provide you with the necessary things to keep your gun firing rounds down range. It comes in a hard case which is nice cause when you throw it in your pack the tools inside will not go all over the place. It does NOT include gun oil gals/guys but to their credit they don't claim to include it so just letting you know. I wanted to give it a 3 starts but I couldn't cause for what I paid it's a great item plus delivery was fast. I couldn't give it a 5 cause it does NOT include everything only the required things. So yes I am happy with the purchase, yes I do think its worth the money, yes I will also get one for my .45

Overall this is a great kit! It is compact and has everything you need. The parts are well made and work great however the supplied patches are not very good. At least for me the patches fell apart pretty quickly and didnt really clean all that well. Of course I didn't buy the kit for the patches so I'm still very pleased with it.

Rod's tend to loosen during use because the threads aren't great, so it's a little annoying that every time you run it through the barrel you have to retighten the rods. Otherwise it's a good kit.

Awesome kit, works great, good quality but seriously a beast to get opened the first time for some reason... I may have been doing it wrong but those two little plastic tabs were a PITA to get out. Had to use pliers to get into it.

Description says "offers a pull through coated cable/rod system".....there is NO pull thru cable with this kit. That is one of main reasons I bought this kit.

It has the pieces to clean but it does not include any of the bore cleaner or the lubricating oil.I took it out to clean my new pistol only to find out that it is missing the oil and lubricant.Just a FYI you will need to buy the adds to make the cleaning kit complete.

Bought this for a .38 snubby. The components are of good quality and sturdy as is the storage container it comes in. The kit has everything you need except solvent and oil. I particularly like the kit's small size, in the range bag or on the bench, it takes up very little space. I'm very satisfied.
