I was skeptical about the benefits of grounding mats, but I decided to give it a try, and I am glad I did. I put my feet on the mat while sitting at my desk at the office and I feel more energized and less anxious at work. My tasks are also going more smoothly. The mat is well-made, thicker than others I've seen, and doesn't have any strong odors. I tested it with a grounding tester, and it worked perfectly. Overall, it's a high-quality product at a great price. Definitely worth trying if you're curious!

I learned to ground when i was younger and working in the mountains. Every chance I had to take my shoes off and sit barefoot on the ground I would do it. If I found a large group of granite rocks I would put my palms down on them as well as my bare feet. That was my favorite. The energy coming into my body was just wonderful and so soothing. My age limited me from those excursions now. I have found a place in my yard where there are no red ants to intrude on me, but I cannot sit there very long. I never heard of these mats, and I am thrilled to report that this one works beautifully. I can sit in my easy chair with my feet on the mat and read or watch a film or work at my desk and I feel the energy come up my legs immediately. It's wonderful. My health has declined in recent years, and after sitting with the mat for a few hours each day my stress levels have receded, and the pain in my legs has disappeared after 5 days use. I'm sleeping better than i have in 6 or 7 years. The sleep is deep and peaceful. I am feeling renewed. (Surfers have always been a pretty mellow group. All those hours barefoot with the earth and water would really do it. I just never considered it before.) I hope this has been helpful to people. I am very glad to recommend this mat. It does not take the place of exercise or strength training, but it does support it. The recovery time in my legs is getting less and less, and I can stay on my bike longer which I am just discovering. Win, win,

Several neighbors in our little community swear by this grounding pad for pain relief. My foot neuropathy is not as yet painful, but I wanted to try this at my home desk to see if the feelings in the bottom of my feet might return. Jury is still out and too new to give an opinion on helping with my neuropathy, but I have had red blotches on the top of my left foot for quite a while that are now fading away. My Dermatologist suggested Vitamin C oil on them, but I did not see any improvement. A week of treatment on the pad and definite disappearance of blotches.

I don't know l can't tell any difference

I had written a previous review where I thought I did not receive the grounding cord. After speaking with their amazing customer service, I was told it might have been stuck to the bottom of the tube. I had unfortunately already recycled and had the tube picked up. Customer Service took amazing care of me, was in immediate contact with me and got me a new product quickly. Even though it's just been a few days of trying this grounding mat, I can sleep through the night with no waking up and less pain, which is truly amazing. Looking forward to using it more and am really, really pleased. Amazing company, people, service and product!!!!!

I used this for a couple weeks both on bare feet and sitting in shorts on it. I felt nothing. I know they say you don't necessarily "feel" anything but the fact that it does not come with a current meter really doesn't allow for verifying it actually has a current which means you now have to buy another product to verify this product works. Its a no for me and being returned.

I got this mat to try while sitting, but immediately decided to try sleeping on it for extended exposure. Although a grounding sheet would have been optimal for this, I was still skeptical and just trying it out so used the mat. The first night, I discounted the first dreams I've had in decades, thinking it could have been a fluke, but after a week of continued deep rem sleep with vivid dreams, I couldn't deny that the mat works. I then went off the sleep patches and still had the same quality sleep so also went off sleep meds as well. I'm about a month in now with deep, restful sleep full of vivid dreams nightly which I haven't experienced in about 25-30 years. My next purchase will be a grounding sheet since I now know this works and it will be more comfortable to sleep on. Then I can use the mat during the day instead, as I had intended when purchasing. I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

I bought this for my 15-year-old Shetland Sheepdog who has severe arthritis in her back hips and legs. While I don't see a difference in her mobility, she does often navigate to lay on it, so she must be feeling something. When she sleeps on it, she appears deeply relaxed and sleeps hard. I believe she's getting good rest as she will sleep for a few or couple of hours on it without moving or being restless in her sleep. When she's not on the mat and on her padded rug, she doesn't sleep well. In other words, she's out like a light! If it is only bringing her good rest and sleep then I'm happy as at her age, she needs it.

Good quality grounding mat

My wife has been in constant pain for years, mostly neuropathy and inflammation, she was sceptical but willing to try anything. I purchased the Merisky grounding mat for her to try, she plugged it in and stood on it and immediately a smile came to her face and she said she can notice a small pulsing up her legs, she put it on the bed and slept with her calves on it and said it was cold but she actually slept through the whole night and woke with hardly any pain in her back, legs, and feet for the first time in years. Meh. Can't sleep while on it. Ears buzz/ring so ,I new something was happening. Got so comfortable and relaxed I layed there for 2 1/2 hrs. Did affect my inflammation(s) thereby easing up on the pain((s). Maybe with longer use I'll sleep. I am impressed. Had to use just a top sheet as I got super heat on my back. No where else so it was doing something for sure. Time will tell.

This is my first time using a grounding mat. Although, I read that it can take up to 30 days to feel any improvement, mine was instant. I slept with my legs on the mat and instantly improved my sleep from three nights in a row of 32 minute rem sleep to 70 minutes according to my Apple Watch. I also found a difference in my overall physical well being and energy at the gym. Well worth the cost in my case, although, everything affects everybody differently.
