The scrub helps get rid of flakiness and the cream definitely helps my lips stay soft throughout the night. I will buy this again.

I liked that this came as two lip treatments, one for exfoliating, and the other for moisturising. And I liked that it came with a little spatula to apply. However, as the scrub is supposed to be removed with water it's natural home is the bathroom and the balms, or mask as they call it, natural home is in the bedroom - at least for me anyway. This means that I have to decide which one I am going to keep the spatula with as it would just be too annoying to have to take it between the two. Plus while the spatula comes in a little sleeve to keep it clean I know of other brands that integrate a spatula type applicator in the lid of the balm, this is a much better idea. The scrub goes on easy and you can feel it smoothing and removing dead cells, and if you happen to get a bit on the inside of your lip you can taste the sugar that is used as the scrubbing bit, although I am not suggesting you eat it! As for the mask, it has a nice consistency and does a great job of hydrating and plumping your lips, the only problem I have with it is it contains shea butter and to me shea has a musty smell and this is then right below my nose and I can smell it, not entirely pleasant.

I think that it is easier to use the sugar lip scrub in the shower, rather than over the sink, as you can rinse it off you lips easier under the shower than with water in your hands. You don't need much, less is more, and the scrub alone makes your lips feel softer, whilst also removing loose skin off your lips. You don't need much of the lip balm, either, so this set will last for a long time, especially if you only use the lip balm after using the sugar scrub. It doesn't say how often to use the scrub, so I don't know if you need to use it daily or weekly or just whenever you want. It might be a bit harsh to use daily, as it does make your lips tingle. I would be inclined to only use the balm when I've used the scrub so that I don't run out of balm before I run out of the scrub. I'll use my regular lip balm the rest of the time, but if the sugar scrub seems like it is going to run out first then I'll use the lip balm at other times, too; I'll play it by ear. I do suffer from dry, chapped lips, particularly at the change of the seasons, so I'm really happy with this set.

I’ve been suffering with flaking lips so thought I’d give this set a go. Admittedly I’m not completely sold on it. The scrub is just sugar in scented gel. Which although smells nice, you may as well just rub sugar on your lips. I personally feel the grains need to be a little smaller. The balm smells nice and I put quite a bit on to go to bed. I found that my lips absorbed this quite quickly so by the time I woke up there was no balm and they were beginning to dry out.

Fun night time lip care routine. Contains jar of 15g exfoliating lip scrub and a jar of 10g overnight lip treatment. I have the blueberry option which is brightly coloured turquoise and is sweetly scented. The bright colour and the sweet fruity scent would appeal very much youngsters more but can be enjoyed by everyone. This isn’t just your average petroleum jelly-based lip balm it contains some really lovely ingredients including moisturising Hyaluronic Acid, Shea Butter, jojoba seed oil, grape seed oil and Cocoa Seed butter. Note although it does contain real Blueberry Fruit Extract which is rich in Vitamin E the scent of the product is derived from artificial fragrance. Also contain Collagen, be rest assured that the product is vegan friendly so safe for vegans and vegetarians alike. On occasions when I eat particularly salty foods like olives and capers, I can develop very dry flaky lips. The exfoliating sugar scrubs help to gently encourage these dry flakes to lift away. After cleaning away any lip scrub residue and brushing the teeth (you do not want sugar on your teeth overnight) apply the overnight lip balm. The set comes with a little applicator spatula but I didn't bother using, I just used my fingers. It’s easier to wash my hands than to bother to wash the spatula and it’s also easy enough to apply with fingers. I don't think I will need to use the lip scrub on a regular basis, possibly once a fortnight or when my lips are particularly flaky.

I do suffer from dry and flaky lips and need to use lip balm every day multiple times and when they feel dry if I don't have lip balm on me, I will absentmindedly chew at my lips making them feel even more dry whereas when they are hydrated I leave them alone. This scrub has definitely helped and is a nice product to use and is quick so doesn't take much commitment like a skincare routine does. I just use it probably 2-3 times a week on an evening before going to bed - apply the scrub, remove with a flannel, then add the mask which is really just a balm. If my lips are feeling soft and hydrated before bed I don’t use it as its clearly not necessary. The watermelon scent is nice and fruity. The day after the nights I do use it, I always wake up with softer lips that feel much more hydrated. I did start off using the applicator but it's fine to put on with your fingers too. All in all a nice, commitment light, affordable treat. The current price is very reasonable, and if you do decide to buy don’t forget to check the listing to see if there is a tick box for a voucher to save yourself some money.
