DUMMY SECURITY CAMERA - Lens & Flashing Red LED

I was recently burgled, Christmas week, I was devastated. I bought two of these dummy cameras one for front of house and one for back of house. The lens and flashing light makes this little camera look just like the real thing. Easy to fit, just two screws with raw plugs. Two batteries were included so I was able to use them straight away. I also bought two CCTV warning stickers which I have placed on front and back door. Yes they are obvious but that's what I wanted. Along with motion security lights, door alarms, and CCTV stickers I feel I have done all I can to stop my home from being burgled again. After speaking to burglary squad, and reading victim support leaflets any kind of CCTV and lighting will make a burglar walk past your house ....... They dont want to bee seen. Excellent price, looks just like the real thing, easy to fix onto wall. Arrived in a box, in jiffy bag, delivered by the post man. Took three working days to arrive.

we bought these two on the recommendation a Crime Prevention Officer (friend of ours) after he advised us that a certain "undesirable" had moved in across the road. What a buy !! Absolutely amazingly real, and quite scary as one approaches our front drive. We have one, and I gave the other to our neighbour next door who also faces the property opposite. The "undesirable" across the street has now moved out !!! WOW! Re-sult or what ? Even my sister in law who is a Custody Officer at the police station said she assumed it was a real camera when they came to our front door. Fantastic product, easy to fix,(dummy husband!!!) looks the part and obviously does the job. AND amazing "value for money". Definitely recommend. Oh, DON'T let the red light flash though, as it doesn't do so on real cameras. Fantastic piece of security, physically and mentally.

Everything went well until I took the product from the box. I know its cheap and a dummy but it does need to look real! The aperture where a real camera lens would be was only partly visible. and why do you need a flashing light, my real ones dont flash.

Not a lot to say really. It looks like a 'real one', just hope any 'potential burglars' think so too!

this product is very good since i have put it up nobody has been near but dont put batteries in as real security cameras dont have a flashing light and i wud recommend this product,brilliant

I paid £6.50 for this useless bit of kit. The first one arrived in a broken state. I received a replacement which was also broken. I contacted the seller to express my disappointment. He said that all others he had sold had been OK. All I would say is beware of purchasing this item. It is nothing more than a piece of plastic with wires attached. Avoid at all costs

Mine was separating itself in two as I was fitting it, but its a quick cheap solution so a bit of tape sorted that out.UPDATE - batteries dont last long in it. I expected it to run for 6 months on a Duracell Pro Cell aa as its a low power LED but every-time I check it it always seems to have gone flat. High maintenance therefore!

I am not in a position to afford expensive home security,this is exactly what I needed,thank you and will definitely use and probably buy more of
