Stagg 14913 Pair of Wooden Castanets

Just received the 'pair' of Castanets, to discover it's actually HALF a pair of Castanets. A single Castanet is of no use to anyone.Also, and even worse, the quality of the Castanet is nowhere near as good as the picture suggests. I hope my picture shows this to an extent. It's a heavily varnished, badly made, piece of rubbish. The sound chamber is not even carved deeply, or even centrally, and the edge of the Castanet is not even level or flat, so it'll probably sound rubbish too. I was prepared to accept it even on it's own, to practice at least 1 hand of the art, but the fact that it's such rubbish rules out keeping it. I have always liked Stagg products, but this is an abomination. I'd even say it's a fake copy of a real Stagg item.....But who on Earth would bother making a fake Castanet? Don't buy this thing.......Save a bit more money and get a quality PAIR of Castanets.

Useless! Advertised as a pair of castanets but only one hand was delivered. Not worth the money or postage. Exceedingly disappointing.
