FIRST- The key is to follow the recipe suggestions on the label to get the flavor strength at a good level. I kept seeing where other reviews complained about weak drinks. I didn't have that problem. Cola is terrific! I used sparkling water. Also tried cola with lime soda, and again with lexardo cherries to make cherry coke. YUM! Root Beer is tasty. This syrup is thick; well, syrupy. Thicker than the cola & lavender. It's sweet and made a great float. I even drizzled a little syrup on a serving of ice cream and it was great. Lavender is sweet and very floral and fragrant. I made a vanilla lavender coffee creamer & also a lavender matcha latte. Yes, it's not cheap, but compared to buying soft drinks at a restaurant or coffees at a store, it's not bad for servings per bottle. The ingredients are quality and there's lower sugar than in commercial soft drinks. I'll buy again and try a few more flavors. Definitely getting the Cola again! Don't forget to refrigerate. It does say it on the labels.

Portland are the best syrups ever. I need a low histamine diet and these have no additives or preservatives. They taste wonderful. I’ve had caramel, brown sugar, hazelnut, chai.

WOOO! The Yuzu flavor is BY FAR my favorite and the taste was exactly what I was looking for! I will be ordering this again without a doubt. The other two flavors were not as satisfying, but I'm always giving props to independent businesses so at least they're out there doing the dang thing. The ginger flavor isn't bad, but you have to use A LOT of it to get any kick from the ginger. This syrup is nice, but not gingery enough for me. It's not a product I would purchase again unless it was given more kick. The root beer flavor is quite traditional/earthy. If you're expecting it to taste like root beer soda, you may be disappointed. I personally was avoiding that sugary soda flavor and was looking for something closer to a sarsaparilla profile. If you have a similar expectation, I would suggest avoiding this syrup as it is no where close to that flavor. This syrup is earthy with some peppery flavors to it. It's good, but I also can't compare it to any other flavor I've had before and it won't be something I'm interested in purchasing again. To each their own! That yuzu though? Perfection!

No weird chemically taste or strange smell. This product is wonderful! We use the fruity stuff for homemade sodas. The sugary syrups are for milkshakes and my coffee. The taste is so good! Very potent. I’ve used less than suggested. The ingredients are top tier. The bundle deals are well worth it. Order fulfillment is also impressive with my order shipping from the company’s fulfillment center within a few hours after my purchase was complete. It arrived well before the system’s ETA. I got these on a a whim when I was actually looking at another companies coffee syrup. These popped up and after reading ingredients I decided to give them a try instead of the other (better and cleaner ingredients with this company). My husband is pre-diabetic and I don’t want him drinking regular sugar pop or the chemical sugar free stuff. Well, we are blown away by these. I myself don’t even like pop aside from the occasional root beer and the cola one is incredible. It tastes how I imagine old soda shop apothecary elixirs taste. We will be lifelong buyers of this stuff. When we received our order I saw it was a small company as well, which I didn’t realize until I got them. This stuff is legit and I’m glad I can find it on Amazon because I’m nowhere near Portland and I’m hooked. Absolutely recommend. There is zero weird chemical taste nor is there artificial flavors either.
