These are an awesome idea to double your shoe rack.

I wear some BIG & WIDE shoes. They take up substantial shelf space, and I have been wanting a rack or storage system that was simple and effective. Many others require floor space, and have set dimensions, which make them sturdy, but less than optimal. When I came upon this "Shoe Slot" organizer, it looked like a versatile and flexible answer to what I've been looking for... so I jumped at the opportunity to review these.Not too many "solutions" offer to organize and help store 16 pairs of 13M WIDE shoes... especially at this price-point. The item itself is fairly simple, and extremely easy to use. It's easy to open, load, and then deploy into almost any open space. Unlike stacking type "solutions", these (mostly) keep each shoe from contacting the other. That's a big plus as it cuts down on deformation and collapsing of the integrity of the upper.Because of the length and weight of my shoes, I needed to open them to the max position. In some cases the larger toe boxes did come in contact with the fulcrum area of the device, so I did need to back a few of them out an inch or so, to prevent the toe from being crushed or deformed when combined with the deflection of the device due to the weight of the shoes. I've removed a star from my review total, due to this minor, but notable situation. People with smaller feet, and lighter shoes will (likely) not be impacted by this, but in my case, I am.Otherwise this is a simple, cost effective, no nonsense, and fairly effective solution... that fits neatly in to a small (and nest-able) footprint when not in use. As far as value is concerned, I think this product will likely be a trend setter, as long as you have hard flooring or shelf space to store them in/on. Retrieval is easy, as you can slide both shoes out of their slot with a small grip area located at the front. It's somewhat ingenious, and should prove its value and effectiveness easily to anyone willing to try them.It's not the greatest thing since sliced bread, mind you. It's also not an heirloom quality product... but it is certainly worthy of consideration. I'm pleasantly surprised (and organized) with the more efficient use of my storage space. Good stuff!

I got these to hopefully cut down on my shoe storage dilemma. These worked like a charm and has greatly cut done on how much space the shoes now take up. Plus, it makes it easier to find the shoes you want since the top one displays which shoe is on it. I like that you can adjust the height of the holder to accommodate flats all the way up to 4-inch heels and they fit fine so no squishing the bottom shoe to fit. They are light weight and easy to set up and adjust the height. They are plastic so they are easy to keep clean. I got the 16 count, for the money it is a good deal since it would make them under 2.00 each. I am very happy that they worked out great for me. It matched the description in the ad.

It just doesn't really save as much room as you might think and the cheap plastic material it is made of seems very likely to break easily.

Before using this shoe slots organizer, I used to fit five pairs of shoes per shelf in my shoe closet; after using this Shoe Slots Organizer, I can now fit eight pairs per shelf. Amazing! The Material of the organizer is sturdy and durable which should last years to come. It provides 4 levels of height to meet different heights of shoes and every level is easy to adjust. Based on my experience, the 1st level (the lowest) is able to store flip flops; 2nd level is for loafers, flats, mules, no heel sandals etc; 3rd one is for sneakers, sports shoes, etc; the top level is for ankle boots, heels under 2.5 inches. Though this organizer does save space, it has height limits for the size of shoes it can accommodate. So it's better to check your shoe racks/shelves before ordering. Overall, this shoe slot organizer helps me solve some problems of shoe organizing by making my shoe closet clear and tidy. Even if I need to take a little more time to get the shoes out or put them back, I am still happy to have it and give it 4 stars.

I didn't know I needed these until I reorganized my closet. Suddenly, I can see and store A LOT more shoes on the shelves rather than in bins on the top shelf (to be forgotten about and never worn).These are sturdy - hold sneakers, pumps and sandels. The height adjusts up or down, but stay where you put it.I'll be ordering more as I suddenly have a lot more space on my shelves.

These deliver on the promise to save 50% f space, assuming you have the height clearance in your closet. Indexing between the different angles takes a little work, as the pawl doesn't want to budge. But I suppose that's better than being so loose that it can't hold the weight of a shoe. Despite portrayal in some of the product pics, these do not work well for boots. Dress shoes, sneakers, hiking shoes.....check, check, and check. These work well not only in the closet, but at our home entrance for guest shoes. We have slippers and footies for guests at the door and these shoe slots are neatly stacked on a shoe rack for guests to use.
