Tetra Complete Substrate For Long Term Fertilisation, 10 kg

Although I've had many aquarium in the past, this is my first planted tank. This product was recommended to me and hasn't disappointed. Everything I have planted in it has grown really well. I used their Total Substrate to capture it. Remember to add this to the aquarium first and then water second or you'll end up with a muddy cloud (I learnt that the hard way!) for 24 hours. Very recommended product. I used a whole tub in a 100l tank 60" x 30" and got a really deep covering and so didn't need to supplement with any root tab.

It looks really nice in my tank and anchors the plants nicely. As a bonus, you get the handy bucket for water changes.

Works perfectly if you follow the instructions, my tank looks fantastic, I used one little bucket and 4 kg of gravel over the top and planted before I filled the tank, planted tanks need substrates for healthier plants and this one works great. Cannot be used alone as this has peat moss and some other stuff that will float if you don't use aabout 3-4 cm of gravel or sand over the top, follow instructions and you can't go wrong.

Es una base nutritiva ideal si buscas que tus plantas crezcan con vigor desde el primer día. ​Lo que destacaría de este sustrato: ​Crecimiento visible: Las plantas han enraizado rapidísimo. Se nota que el fertilizante de liberación lenta funciona, ya que las hojas presentan un color verde intenso y un aspecto muy sano. ​Fácil de aplicar: Al ser un sustrato "listo para usar", facilita mucho el montaje. Yo lo he cubierto con una capa de grava fina para evitar que se disperse en el agua y la combinación es perfecta. ​Estabilidad del agua: No he notado que altere los parámetros del agua ni que enturbie el acuario tras el llenado inicial, siempre que se haga con cuidado. ​Cantidad generosa: El formato de 10 kg cunde bastante, perfecto para cubrir bien la base de un acuario de tamaño medio y crear zonas con distinta profundidad. ​Conclusión: Si estás pensando en montar un acuario con plantas naturales, este sustrato de Tetra es una apuesta segura. Ofrece una relación calidad-precio excelente y te asegura que las plantas tengan los nutrientes necesarios durante mucho tiempo. Muy satisfecho con la compra.

Tetra Complete Substrate is a fantastic foundation layer for planted tanks. It’s rich in nutrients, supports strong root development, and really helps new plants establish quickly. Easy to use — just spread a thin layer under your main gravel or sand. Since adding it, plant growth has noticeably improved with less need for extra fertilisers early on.
