Combinatorial Optimization: Polyhedra and Efficiency: 24 (Algorithms and Combinatorics, 24) Hardcover – 10 Dec. 2002

I only received volume B at my first purchase, and after requested replace the item, I only receive C. I suffered from incomplete shipping twice!

Aufgrund einer älteren Rezension war ich vorsichtig, da dort von kleinen Mängeln in den Büchern berichtet wurde.Dennoch fiel mir fünf Tage lang der Schreibfehler im Titel am Buchrücken nicht auf. Am Buchinhalt selbst sind mir noch keine Unstimmigkeiten aufgefallen. Für die Hälfte des regulären Preises ist ein einziger falscher Buchstabe im Titel absolut verschmerzbar.

This is a great set of books. Just two things to keep in mind:- Its main objective is to cover a *polyhedral* approach to Combinatorial Optimization.- Since is mean to be more of a reference book, some proofs or arguments are not explained in a lot of detail. You have to think a lot while reading... which is good.

Might be a great book but I only received volume A, even though the description says 3 volume. Just fair warning if you decide to place an order.

if u do research on combinatorial optimization like i do then this is the best book to read! Although it is not the easiest book out there but the three volumes work as a great encyclopedia on the subject! I specially like the second volume on matroids and submodular functions!
