In terms of cleaning, these clean up any material without damaging the materials of the shoe. When i was searching for a quality shoe cleaner i wanted something that wasn’t too harsh on more sensitive materials specifically nubuck or suede and this worked perfect. However you should know that this doesn’t clean the soles of shoes too well which to me was a trade off i was more then willing to accept. I use my own solution for the soles anyways which tend to be stronger that could potentially damage the actual material of the uppers.

Jason Markk originally appeared on my radar as a stocking stuffer years ago. A great little "thing", I would have called it back then, that helped keep shoes clean. Fast forward to today and what I'd now call a cleaning product remains outstanding and effective- so long as you're aware of its limits. This is no magic cure-all for shoes. If they're dirty, and they've been dirty for a long time, this simply won't get shoes back to looking perfect. Then again, very few things that are as light and gentle will. If they're dirty from an impromptu parade through a puddle, they'll save your shoes nearly effortlessly. There's really not much more to say than that. Great quality, great product, and does a great job. Like many things tethered to reality, there are limits, but for your day to day they may as well not exist. If you want to keep good care of your shoes, Jason Markk is a very easy brand to depend on.
