2 week So far so good Impressions
Overall Impressions After two weeks with the SIXWIN 2G+64G Android Car Stereo, I’m very happy with my choice. I shopped around extensively and ultimately picked this unit for its feature set—and so far, no regrets. The 9‑inch touchscreen looks sleek in the Elantra dash, the speakers are noticeably louder than stock, and wireless CarPlay/Android Auto work smoothly (though actual performance does vary by your phone). Customer Service: Support has been excellent—responses in under 12 hours and usually much less. They walk you through any questions promptly. Installation & Fitment Plug‑and‑Play Wiring: Most harnesses snap straight into your factory connectors. Dash Trim: Attaching the clock/temperature bezel was a bit fussy—I had to trim off two plastic clips on the stock trim piece to get a snug fit. Once clipped in, it looks factory‑installed. Backup Camera: The video cable is ready to go, but I haven’t mounted the camera yet; that install’s still on my to‑do list. Screen & Touch Performance Sunlight Visibility: The glossy 9″ display is crisp indoors, but under direct sun it can wash out—so you might need to adjust tilt or use a sunshade. Touch Response: Very responsive and lag‑free. The screen ships with a protective film; I’m still figuring out the easiest way to peel it off without trapping dust. Features & Connectivity Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto: Seamless pairing every time—menus mirror instantly. Android Auto in particular runs butter‑smooth, but your mileage depends on your phone’s horsepower. MirrorLink & Wi‑Fi: Casting apps and streaming music over Wi‑Fi have been rock‑solid. 2 GB RAM + 64 GB storage keeps multitasking stutter‑free. GPS Navigation & Bluetooth: Built‑in GPS locks quickly, and Bluetooth calls/music come through clearly. Build Quality & Support Materials: The housing feels robust—solid plastic with no creaks so far. Living in a very hot, sunny climate, I’ll be watching for any fading or heat‑related issues. Final Verdict For anyone driving a 2011–2013 Elantra who wants a drop‑in head unit with modern connectivity, this SIXWIN Android stereo is a compelling, regret‑free upgrade. Just be prepared for a bit of trim‑work on the dash bezel and to manage glare if you park in direct sunlight—but beyond that, it does everything you’d expect (and more).

Nice unit- light modifications to factory temp display necessary
Install was great, molding of plastic accessory/module pieces can be hit or miss with this type of unit, but this one was spot-on and worked well with factory temp display. DO know that you have to cut two plastic ears off of the factory temperature display to get it to fit properly, but it does not in any way affect the performance. Unit performed well and sounds great. I would definitely buy again.

Non-Functional
This head unit was easy to install and would turn on, however, the touch screen did not work at all. After going through customer service, I have no option but to return this item.

Great unit but require installation by an installer
The screen quality is good. Touch is decent. Volume is great. But if you think that this is plug and play you are wrong !!! It require an installation by an installer who know what he is doing. (300$) This unit won’t connect to the existing camera that’s why it come with one ( horrible quality. I ended up getting. new hd camera 100$ extra ) this unit won’t plug and play to the amplifier so they will need to run wires across the car for it overall good unit. Just keep in mind you will probably have to spand $200-$500 and 2-3 hrs of installation depends who is doing the installation
