Overall Product functions as expected. The rating is very much down to the very inadequate packaging. This small SODIMM was in a bubble wrap slip, and then in a mail bag - There was very little protection, normally memory chips like this are sent in a small tray style packaging to ensure they can't be bent or snapped in transit. As we said, the product functions well, however more attention to how a product is protected in transit should be taken. Having received this item, we'd be very wary of purchasing again, knowing the packing is not quite where it needs to be.

Its memory what else can you say. It works well

Adding extra memory to computers is not something I have done all that often; buying extra memory used to be a significant purchase. So after purchasing a new laptop it was good to see that maxing out the memory was no longer going to be the same significant purchase it once was. Working out what memory was needed didn't seem to be any easier but after doing some reading I placed my order Global. I am so grateful that before Global ship memory orders they get in contact to confirm the memory ordered is correct for purpose it will be put to. In my case I had got it quite wrong so they offered to change my order, which wouldn't cost me as much, or cancel the order if I wished. Their diligence saved me what would otherwise have given me a lot of grief and frustration. The memory Global sent is working fine while the memory I had initially ordered would never have physically gone in my laptop had they just sent that out to me! I thoroughly recommend using Global if, like me, you'd like that second pair of eyes to check over your own orders and have that assurance of what drops on your doorstep is right for your own device.
