These are a high quality, "trade grade" item of workwear and thus in my opinion very good value at the current price point (30 GBP).Sizing is good. I average around a 33" waist (I usually wear Snickers 6141 shorts in size code 48) and the 34" size I received fits me well. At my summer weight they will be fine with a work belt and when I've a few extra pounds on the stretch waist on these will have my back (or indeed, stomach). The stretch mechanism is very subtle and works without leaving the shorts baggy or feeling as if they will slip down when active.They are mostly very well designed as work wear. Numerous and ample belt loops will support both toolbelts and braces. The rear pockets and front thighs are well protected against wear by Cordura panels. A useful number of pockets front, side and rear, many of which will hold a phone securely. There's a well-placed knife pocket on the front too.My only criticism is with the pocket layout and construction. Partly this is a matter of personal taste; I prefer the front 'external flap' style pockets of my Snickers when it comes to easy regular access to items like screws, nails and other consumables. However, I also question the practicality of stud/button fasteners for pockets in locations that you're likely to either sit or lay on. In the case of these Apache's, I'd much rather that the back RHS pocket was an open style, without a button. I think the poppers on the front pocket clusters might get tedious too. For those reasons alone, I'll likely stick with Snickers as my go-to work shorts. Just keep in mind that the Apache shorts here are almost half the price and in most ways of equal quality and comfort.

Good high quality material, stretched/elasticated waistband allows for extra movement. Plenty of deep pockets. Great product! Very comfortable to wear especially in the hotter months.
