This laptop backpack from SEVENTEEN LONDON looks like a standard backpack but it’s not and I quite like how it differs to the more ‘traditional’ style.While this can still be worn on your back and be carried via the two separate carry handles, the top of the rucksack has a rectangular wire frame and a straight double zipper (think how a ladies purse would open).I like the way this opens as it presents you with a tall rectangular bag, that’s shaped better than a standard rucksack.The inside is lined and contains a lightly padded sleeve and some open pockets, otherwise this bag is just a big open space.On the outside there's another similarly padded sleeve with a zipper top, so in theory you could carry a laptop and a tablet in this, with them both being afforded some protection.Two open pockets either side (one being elasticated) let you carry bottles or anything else similarly shaped.The base of the rucksack is a washable rubber type material, which again I liked as it means I can lay it down on any surface and not worry about anything getting wet or permanently marked.This rucksack is nice and overall build is pretty good and reflects what I would expect to pay for £35.00, which is what this cost at time of review.There’s no wicking material anywhere on the rear and while the shoulder straps have some, it’s quite light so it’s not a backpack I’d want to carry against my back for too long but it’s being marketed as a school/college/work bag so again, I’m okay with that.My grey one has picked up a couple of marks already through normal use, but there’s no washing instructions so I’d be wary. I only plan on sponge cleaning it and hopefully overtime I’ll be able to keep it looking good.Definitely a bag I’ll use, purely due to the way it opens, it’s freestanding rectangular shape and it’s rubberised base.

I’m delighted with this back packHad plans on when I would be using it (mainly for commuting / travel) but then my teenage niece, who stays with me each week for several days - nabbed it from me!She loves it too, and says many of her chums have asked her where she got it from so they can buy oneMy niece has promised me a photo of the backpack full of items, so I can add the photo to my attached photos here…..she is a teenager, but as soon as she sends me the photo, I will update my review!Really good quality - we both love how the top opens (it has a frame) so easier to place things in it. Looks tasteful. Grey shade is good.It is comfortable to wear and carry by handI think the cost is fair, given the unusual design and quality - and usefulness (£34.99 at time of review)We would absolutely order again and can thoroughly recommend

This review is for the 'SEVENTEEN LONDON Waterloo Laptop Backpack, 15" Laptop, Water Resistant, Recycled RPET Materials, Casual Bag for Travel, Work or College.'This black back-pack has an under-stated design - it is very plain.I have measured the size of the bag and it is 40cm x 26cm x 12 cm - (the dimensions are incorrect at time of review on the Amazon details stating '12 x 20 x 40 cm').The bag does have quite a narrow opening, but can comfortably fit a15'' laptop and there is also room for folders, note books and pens etc.It has a zipped front pocket with inner pale grey lining, and on the sides there are pouch pockets which can fit a slim water bottle.The top of the bag fastens with a double zip which zips smoothly. It has an inner pale grey lining with 2 small pouch pockets, 1 large pouch pocket and a padded pocket (unzipped).The shoulder straps are adjustable, and the upper parts of the straps are padded and breathable so it is comfortable to carry. There are also 2 short carry handles which can be clipped together.It is made from recycled PET bottles.It is ideal as a bag to carry laptop and accessories.

This is a great little backpack, very compact for commuting, especially if you have to carry a laptop around with you. There is a separated padded pocket for a laptop and there is lots more space for folders or books, lunch or chargers/power banks. Comfortable for carrying around too.
