I've used this laptop since 2024 and I adore it. Was able to put linux on it easily and it works like a dream, plenty of memory and storage and outside is sleek. the 15.6 inch is a bit bulky to carry around but I keep this one at home so it's no issue. If I had to make a complaint I'd say the colors of the display are considerably more washed out and unsaturated compared to my other computers. But its not so bad to be noticeable unless you have another display directly next to it.

I purchased this laptop on July 2 and have been using it for a few weeks. It booted right up straight out of the box, setup was easy and it was ready to use. Screen is good, not fond of the keyboard (I much prefer discreet keyboards), mouse pad is responsive and it is fast. With several memory hungry aps running and several chrome tabs open switching between aps is very quick with no mouse or screen lag. Im not a gamer so cant comment on that. Battery life is several hours and recharges quickly. BUT the power adapter uses the only usb C port which is not mentioned in the specifications. I ordered a power supply with a barrel connection and problem solved. Over all I am quite pleased, it runs great, boots quickly, shuts down quickly and I have not had any problems at all.

Do NOT buy from this company! I purchased this laptop a few months ago. I just started using the laptop because setting up a new computer and transferring everything is a pain. I've only been using the laptop for about two weeks. Yesterday I was using it just fine. I closed it to take a break. When I came back to it, it wouldn't turn on. The small LED light on the side of the laptop turned on, but nothing else happened. I did a hard reset. The screen turned on briefly but flickered. It then shut off. I tried several more resets without success. I took the laptop to a computer repair shop this morning. They tested the computer's power draw and found it was insignificant, indicating a bad CPU or GPU. It's a total loss. Don't waste your money.

I have been in technology for almost 50 years. in my lifetime I have used just about everything that computes, calls, calculates, shows time, and locates. I have used it, sold it, broke it, and repaired it, from mainframe computers to watches. I needed a new laptop, my old one was 10 years old but still able to run Windows 11. It's tiny and kind of slow, so I searched Amazon exhaustively for a new one and came across this, the 40GB RAM Ryzen 7 Lenovo. I've always been an HP fan but have used Lenovos before, they are always well built and last a long time. This one is probably the best I have seen. I'm not a PC gamer, so I don't need intense graphical speed, but I think the Radeon GPU can handle anything I need to throw at it, and the OS loads in less than 10 seconds. It's light, has a 1TB SSD which is enough room for me, and did I say fast? The RAM can load the whole OS. The keyboard is excellent, I don't need a backlit one, it has every key imaginable, even a side numeric keypad. It's light, VERY light weight, and the perfect form factor for me at 14". Best design ever. If you don't need a powerhouse for gaming, want to browse the Internet , do your taxes, watch videos, and maybe create a video once in a while, this laptop can do it all. People complain about the viewing angle and video, but I downloaded the latest drivers from AMD and I don't see a problem. It was shipped quickly even to my remote rural community, great seller. Two days.

I've purchased 24 of these for a business, and for the most part we really like these as an inexpensive powerhouse laptop. Don't forget to update these a lot when you first get them; they appear to be on stock from 6 - 12 months ago and almost every driver and Windows itself gets an update on first power on. One concerning issue -- one of these 24 failed within 6 months, so I sent it to Lenovo for a warranty. They've been great diagnosing the problem and getting a replacement, but the tech mentioned that this specific RAM upgrade is **not supported by the motherboard** and the motherboard is designed only for 8 GB. He told me that Lenovo does not sell this model anymore at all, so my replacement is a different line. He noted "We cannot honor any modifications made by a third party after the original sale," which confuses me since this listing claims to be sold by the 1st party, not a 3rd party. Just wanted to call out a small note on an otherwise well likely laptop! I do get some complaints that the built in screen isn't of the highest quality and is a little dim and fuzzy, but that's easily gotten around with an external screen.

It has turned out to be a decent laptop. The plastic case was a let down from my last Lenovo but, I am shocked by how many games I can play without it having dedicated graphics.

Very happy with how easy it is to use. The battery life on it is great. Last me for a couple of days. The speed and the performance is perfect. Even with all the programs I have installed on the laptop it does not lag. The size of the laptop is perfect for what I need.

For the price I got this laptop, nobody was even close. Very fast and display is nice. Features are robust and being able to extend the warranty was great. No issues at all with this for the past year. Will be looking for another very shortly. Hopefully this one or a similar one is available.

I bought this laptop mainly for work, and it never disappointed. I have been coding (using Eclipse IDE for Web Programming) and running VMs and I didn't face any problems. The experience felt smooth. Personally I have two things to mention because they could be improved, but they aren't a big deal in my case: 1. Screen: the screen’s viewing angles and contrast could be better. When watching movies or darker content, the image often looks washed out or overly dark unless the screen is tilted precisely. Brightness and contrast calibration feel slightly inconsistent. 2. Battery: it gets drained quickly, so you'll find yourself charging the laptop several times. Not recommended if you travel/move frequently. I highly recommend installing the Lenovo Vantage software & then enabling "Conservation mode" if you're going to keep the charger plugged-in for long sessions. This mode will expand the battery's lifespan.
