The Wright StuffMedi-Beads Moist Heat Hand Wrap

Helps, but...
Other reviewers have mentioned the fact that the beads all end up clumping in one place, Since I desperately needed some wrist mitts, I ignored that caveat and ordered these. Yes, they do clump, so all the while you are wearing them you are attempting to even out the distribution. Why are they made like this, when all that is needed are a few rows of vertical stitching to create channels and keep the beads divided? Would be a 5 star product were that improvement to be made.

Best Buy!
Love, love, love the medibeads! I purchased 2 and use them for my hands, I have arthritis in both. The Medibeads allows for heat all around my hands. Very affordable. Allows me to have coffee while I'm wearing the medibeads.

Great for heat not for cold
This product is great for heat but terrible for cold. Zap it on the microwave and it’s super hot and hold the heat a very long time. Using it for cold is horrible, you can freeze it overnight and it never gets really cold. It’s also super big and I have to squeeze it to my wrist. Using it for heat though has been worth the purchase.

Great concept, But does not get cold enough.....
This is a great idea but it does not stay cold from freezer for more than 6 minutes. I left this product in freezer for 2 days and still when I went to use it, it was not very cold at all and by the end of about 6 minutes, not cold at all. I love the concept and flexibility of this product but if it doesn't stay cold it is of no value. Frozen vegetable package works much better. I returned this. Too bad.

Hand wrap works exactly as described
I bought two of these hand wraps as it seems the arthritis in my hands hits both of them at once. I heat them at the same time and then sit with my hands inside them until the pain subsides. They are a bit smaller than pictured but worked on me as I don't have large hands.

Does not retain heat long, like 1 minute.
This does not stay warm for long. Not sure if worth the trouble.

Small, but good
The heat wrap does what is says it does, and provides moist heat without adding water. However, the product is smaller than is shown in the image. I'm a 5'3, slim girl and the wrap is only long enough to cover from the tips of my fingers to the thumb knuckle which is closest to my wrist. It doesn't come anywhere near covering my wrist, but I needed it to help my fingers, so it still worked just fine for me. :)I was also surprised to find that the wrap is designed like 2 combined bean bags. The part that goes under your palm is thick and offers a lot of support. The part that goes above your hand is thinner and doesn't seem to have as many beads so it doesn't keep heat quite as well as the bottom part. You can move the beads around in the wrap to bring heat where you need it, but the beads will always start to settle and move back into their previous positions.I also have to reheat the wrap every 20-30 minutes to restore heat.I hope that this helped! :D

Works Great!
I fractured my finger and for therapy I need extra moisture heat. When you put it in the microwave it heats up just right. And is great for arthritis!
