Excellent!
Another fantastic installment in an exceptional series. A creative world, with elements from HWFWM and Beware of Chicken. Delightful! I look forward to the next book.

Great concept.
I avoided reading the first volume until I could find nothing else of interest, I eagerly awaited this books launch. The characters are well fleshed out, and the story is very fun to read. The only flaw I've found is the authors repeated use of the word content, when he means contented.

Good read
I love it. All of the characters are well developed and interesting. I also like how the power system is put together.

Can I join the Church of Fischer?
I’ve never read a series like this such a comforting read and so far from boring. Very detailed and with a lax flow. The gang is growing in power, skills, and meals as they live their lives on the coast while stressing the monarch out in the capital. Read and find out how.

Friends, fishing, and good food
Really enjoyed this sequel. It's slow pace still builds intrigue and mystery, providing different characters POV to keep momentum. Lots of cute little animal buddies . Plenty of story hooks at the end, after a fun bit of adventure, but no cliffhanger. preordering the next one!

Loved it
Great book. I've read a few similar books, and I absolutely love the style. Over here chomping at the bit for book 3 already.

MC is so carefree you just. stop. caring...
First book was good - fun, lighthearted, set the scene up and introduced some characters.Second book is literally 95% filler - MC goes for coffee, has a spineless discussion with his love interest's father where he gets yelled at or belittled, folds like a wet napkin, goes fishing, giggles with his animals (weird amount of giggling...) and then spends more time describing the taste of food than anything else in the book. Rinse and repeat. There's literally nothing that worries him, so there's nothing that you can actually care about. The only interesting moments happen with other characters, and he kinda...just...tags...along...For a character that had moments in the first book where they demonstrated something else other than mush (like hints of the CEO training he went through), this was disappointing. There has to be a little steel or sharpness in the character development to offset the happy-go-lucky naive 12yr old boy attitude he has, otherwise it's just bland and boring. His followers are intent on turning him into a god, and he knows the potential ramifications of others becoming cultivators, but - with admirable dedication - continues to bury his head in the sand on it.You're left with an OP MC that hides behind others, and refuses to grow up. The crabs are more mature than he is.Bleh.

Good 2nd book
It's definitely a good continuation of the first book. More world building. More people and animals were introduced. Al combined into a satisfying ending.Only downside is the long wait for book 2 ^_^

Brilliant
Without doubt one of the best stories being told at the moment. The Ozzy humour is sometimes subtle but mostly slaps you in the face making you laugh out loud. A great story, loveable characters. Bring on the next mate.

The wait is killing me.
I've blasted through the entire book in two days purely during my spare time at work, despite its length. Honestly, it only took that long because I've been trying not to finish it too soon. It's excellent, captivating, and it's consumed my mind for the last week ever since I found out about the first book. I need more, and I'm dreading the wait.

Just as good as the first
Again lots of feel good action, awesome cuteness and a good storyline. I am not religious but I want to be friends with these characters and be a part of their church. Looking forward to reading the next one :-)

Worth reading
I have really enjoyed this series, which is unusual for me, I am a continuous reader, but theses are fun books. Only complaint when dealing with different peoples point of view ,is it mucks up the flow of the plot for me.Otherwise can't wait for the next book, well done author.
