A very good recording in fact the only recording I could find of this very light hearted funny musical a brilliant score by Stephen Sondheim and a very clever and witty set of lyrics also by the composer make this a delight to listen the book was originally by the brilliant Burt Shelove but the very funny comedian and actor Nathan Lane freely adapted it from Sheloves original book Mr Lane also had a leading role a must for any Sondheim fan delivery was fast as well.

A wonderful little musical
I'd never seen The Frogs before I bought this. Now I'd love to! It's a beautiful little musical - witty, dark, dramatic and with a serious moral point. Plus there are some great songs. This recording is clear and comes with a lyrics booklet. My only regret is that you don't get any of the dialogue between the musical numbers, so the plot at the end becomes impossible to follow and I had to go look it up online.
