I love this carrier for my new puppy! Easy to set up and my puppy loves it. There’s plenty of room so he’ll still fit when he’s 80 pounds. 😁 It fit perfectly in my Prius, is well made and easy to clean. While he is small it’s nice to configure it to use half the backseat. When he’s full grown there will still be plenty of room for him.

This product is easy to use and worked great for my dog to ride comfortably on a 4 hour trip. I am definitely going to use it whenever he’s in the car.

it seems sturdy enough, well thought out with pockets to hold leashes. Mine did not come with instructions so originally I didn’t have it set up right. So after I got it set up correctly it does reach to top of the front seats. This is a rewrite of my original review. Worth the money. I mostly use it for my groceries. Keeps stuff from rolling around and falling on the floor. The dogs seem happy with it too

I'm really happy with this product because it not only protects my car's interior (from hair, scratches and the like) but also provides a sturdy surface for our dogs to ride. Before we just had small dog beds in the backseat, but if we had to stop suddenly they would slide forward and potentially onto the floorboards which was stressful & upsetting. This extender solves that problem since they can't slide forward anymore because the whole backseat is now covered and secure for them. It is also really sturdy & gives them more room to move about which I think they appreciate:) The material is nice and thick and I think it will wipe down/vacuum out easily when it gets dirty. The pockets are super convenient for storing and organizing our leashes, water bowls, and poop bags. I also like that it has it's own little bag to fold up into. Very happy with this purchase!

Ease of installation!! And it actually works…Love this solution for my yellow lab.

We needed a seat cover that would accommodate two beagles and a car seat in an 4Runner and this is exactly what we were looking for. I wasn’t sure if it would be enough space for our two 35 lb beagles but they have plenty of space even with the one side folded up. The hard base really expands their space.

I like the fact I can fold up part for a passenger, but the door cover side are not convenient. It is a good dog seat cover

I wish I had found this fabulous back seat extender years ago, when I had a Great Dane. There just wasn't enough space in my RAV-4 SUV for my 115-pound Dane and her 40-pound canine sister to ride in the back seat together. If I had to brake quickly, the pups would sometimes lose their balance and be tossed up against the back of the seat and/or onto the floor. So whenever I took them somewhere, the back seat had to be lowered so that the entire back of the car was their travel area. With that configuration, there was not much room for anything else, and the smaller dog would try to come forward into the front seat over the center console.I now have the same SUV, and a 45-pound Golden Doodle who goes everywhere with me. This extender is incredibly durable and has survived a few thousand miles of road trips. It has just about doubled her travel space, and she doesn't fall to the floor if I have to brake suddenly. Installation is a breeze by clipping the straps to the four headrest posts. Love the pockets (one behind the driver's seat, and another behind the passenger seat) that we use for leash, balls, portable water bowl, and dog bags. Because the base is rigid, it is super easy to wipe down and/or vacuum as needed.We sometimes convert it to accommodate another passenger or snack items for the road, but this still gives our pup plenty of room in her section of the back seat. The mesh divider that spans between the two front seats keeps her from crawling over the console while also allowing the cool air to pass through to the back seat (Air conditioning in all parts of the car is critical in the Arizona heat!). When we use the extender with our Honda CRV, we discovered that the vents for the back seat Air conditioning system blow the cooler air under the extender shelf, so our pup doesn't benefit from use of the back seat AC feature. We just turn the AC fan up a few notches in the front of the car, and direct some vents to blow cool air through the mesh divider in the middle (as we do in the RAV-4).One drawback for us is that it's a little harder for my pup to get into the back seat, because she can't quite reach the seat to get in. She used to get up onto the floorboard first before jumping up onto the seat, but the extender provides a barrier between floorboard and seat. When we have the extender in, she just puts her front feet on the floorboard, then I push her hind end up while she scrambles in. Not an ideal solution, but the extra room and functionality of the extender is totally worth it!
