Worked nicely but slight mouse & screen updating lag compared to DisplayLink models I tested
I had no desire to download exe from mediafire as the seller asks you to do in the product info so I found the drivers myself on the Fresco Logic web site & downloaded from there. As of now the latest is FL2000-2.1.34054.0.exe and installed easily although it decided to set default audio to my HDMI monitor which has no speakers so I had no sound. I just went into Win10 & changed it back to on-board analog audio which is where my speakers are plugged into. As far as functionality, it does what it claims: allows hookup of an HDMI display via USB3. It does a very good job at it aside from the slight delays in mouse movements & dragging windows around etc. It's such a small amount many might not even notice but 2 HDMI displays side by side with 1 hdmi to on-board intel video & 1 hdmi plugged into this adapter then drag a window around very fast that's half on each screen & it becomes obvious which one is which. Keep in mind people don't likely do that in normal daily use but it was 1 way I was testing how fast this adapter worked plugged into USB3 port. It's very usable even with the delays & quite a bit cheaper than the DisplayLink models from other manufacturers I bought from amazon so tough to knock it. btw this adapter is pretty much unusable in USB2 port.. It runs at 800x600 and mouse movement is odd & significant lag/delays. I mean it does work but wow everything is very large & tough to control the mouse a la pcanywhere over 14.4K modem days. So yeah consider USB 3 a *MUST* with this adapter unlike the DisplayLink ones I tested were very usable plugged into USB 2 ports. So if you think you'll need USB2 & can spend the extra money that's something to consider otherwise non issue for most.

Writing because my expectations were low and the experience has been great.
3months later and zero issues. I use this to connect my HD TV to an editing station. Both audio and video are perfect. Just make sure to look in the description to get the driver. After about an hour of messing around when I first got it, realized the driver was in the description. Windows will NOT automatically install that driver FYI.

Easy to Install
I am not a computer whiz. I just know that my Samsung laptop did not have an HDMI outlet to allow me to connect to a monitor. I received this adapter with no instructions. When I plugged it into my laptop USB outlet and connected to the monitor, it prompted me to install a driver and asked me restart my laptop. After doing so, I could see my screen on the monitor with no delays or distortion. It was perfect and so easy!

Works.
Had to install driver. But then it started working. There is about a 30 second delay between plugging it in and having the image transfer from CPU to projector. But it works. And part of that delay could be from the extra switch box I use in addition to this product.

Dont waste your time it's not worth the effort.
Purchases this item to use with third monitor set up. And after installing drive device worked fine for about 30 minutes then the monitor started turning off and on along with mouse lag along with moving to different screens. Rebooted monitor still same issue, went web site to review info for a possible driver upgrade which they do not give a yes or no update, and website is a pain to navigate. I think there is better options out there
