We ordered a Venus Fly Trap which requires a good light source so we needed to supplement the light coming in our window so we purchased this grow light. The light has worked out well. The Fly Trap requires a light source within two inches of the plant and this worked perfectly. Since the plant is in a 3 inch pot, a light with a stake in the soil, which is often how the grow lights are configured would not have worked and probably would have tipped the plant over. This light comes with an acrylic base which was a good size for the pot. The light can be adjusted to be on for 4, 8, and 16 hours. We have it on for 8 hours. It has been the perfect solution for our needs. We just received it so we will have to see how it holds up in the longer term.

The media could not be loaded. My house doesn't get a lot of sunlight so I bought this plant light. I'll update this review in a couple of weeks to let you know how the plant responds to it. Took one minute to set up. I bought the white colored one. It looks very minimalistic and it provides ample light and I think looks modern.

The cord came apart from the plug while it was in the wall. In the process of trying to get a refund without paying a shipping charge because I made the mistake of buying a faulty product on this marketplace. This could have been a disaster if a child or pet touched it. Should be taken off the market.

This product is pretty cheaply made but was working well for my purposes for a few months. It's small and can't extend very high, so it's best suited for small house plants that don't have significant light needs. It also doesn't have a very long or sturdy power cord. Last week, it stopped working entirely with no apparent cause. It won't turn on at all. Very disappointing, and sad to see these materials go to waste so soon after purchase.

The light looked really nice and did well for my spider plant. I liked everything about it. Was easy to assemble and place in the pot. However, I bought it 2/3/23 and it just stopped working 10/19/23. Not a huge investment but no plans to keep replacing it every 8mos.

The adapter gets too hot. I think this is a fire risk. Great idea, but poor execution. Needs a different adapter
