I freaking love these hats, I have them in a bunch of colors. For medical reasons I have to avoid sun exposure so these are nice and wide and don't allow ANY light to pass through. They can be easily shaped and are easy to wash.

This hat is mostly as described, and came before expected. I wouldn’t consider it lightweight since it feels more like canvas material and can make your head hot when in direct sunlight. The green coloring on the reverse side is quite a bit lighter than I thought it would be. It looks more off white than green. The string that comes to tie was really crumpled up but I didn’t intend to use it anyway so I took it out. Those are the reasons why I’m deducting a star. Regardless the sun protection is 10/10 and covers the front and back of my neck. That is what I got it for so I’m happy. I have pretty broad shoulders so it doesn’t completely cover them but still great coverage all in all. The wires in the brim make it easy to style in different ways and keeps it from flopping in your line of sight. The hat is a little too tight for me to pull it all the way down to fill the cap space so there’s a little extra on top that my head doesn’t fill out. Still wearable though. Will probably order different colors in the future.

I walk a lot and I try to protect my face from sun rays. where I live is very windy, especially in winter time. I need a hat that says on and doesn’t flop around. This is just as described on the listing. It has a wire imbedded on the rim that allows you to bend and mold the hat to your liking. I cut small pieces from the ends of the chin strap so that I can create small loops on the edge of the hat that allows me to flatten the hat on the sides, that’s just my preference. What I like is that I can walk around the track and I feel like I have a small umbrella protecting my face. Perfect fit, quality, and style.

This hat is HUGE and will protect your face, neck and shoulders at the beach but is not useful for gardening or walking because it is too big and floppy, blows off in windy conditions. The color is not as shown.

It’s helpful to be able to bend the hat to protect from sun as the direction changes. But doesn’t lose shape in an awkward way. I’m happy with the purchase.

Best sun hat I own. Post-Moh’s surgery for basal cell cancer on my nose, I needed a really broad-brimmed hat to protect my face and nose. This hat is perfect. The double fabric layer gives excellent sun protection. It fits me perfectly. And I measured my head hat size at 22.5 inches. It might be snug for some, but it is fine for me.

The orange and beige hat is pure plastic, like a tarp material or industrial material more suitable for a heavy parker.
