Equi-Ping TR-EQD0010 Safety Release - Blue, One Size

I've got new stables & these Equi-pings look very much the part. They work well, but we had to tie the safety collar on, otherwise when the quick release works, it shoots off with a risk of being lost! Hence only 4 stars.

Ive given this one a 5* review and another I bought less. That is because I love equiping’s and it is perfect for my cob, it we have a shire who isn’t for hanging around and he just is off all the time but maybe they are not meant for big horses with an escape plan

It does open without breaking and can be closed again (might need to fix the little bracket to the clip with a string because it flies away when the horse pulls the clip open. Maybe it opens a bit too easily, my horse just pulled because it was bored and trying to reach some food, not a heavy jerking because of fear. Once she knows how to do it, she will probably get away all the time, let's see...

They are absolute rubbish, broke first time my pony pulled back on them. Wouldn't use again.

Worked fine for awhile then they broke

Used to tied my horse up outside the trailer. He pulled down to get some grass, came apart straight away, lasted about 30seconds. Great idea but not strong enough.

Absolutely useless! They break open far too easily! One flick of my horses head and he’s free. They won’t even hold a haynet and break when the horse is tugging at it!
