EXO Ultra Durable Hydrophobic Coating v5 - Protect Your Paint, Add Gloss, Repel Contaminants, Resists Chemicals, Get Rid of Water-Spots (50 milliliters)

I put this on my car about 8 months ago when it was new and the finish still looks great and beads water. It's time to reapply but Tesla has notoriously poor paint quality and my car still looks new. I chose this because it is very easy to use. I'd buy it again but I have enough for at least one more application.

For years I had my cars PPF'd and coated. I decided that since I can do corrections that I should feel more than comfortable doing ceramic. I researched a lot of brands and this one kept getting positive reviews. I have now bought it 4 times and have done 3 cars. The secret always to any of this is prep. Remember you're sealing whatever condition your paint is in. So wash, clay, buff/correct then panel wipe/ That is the hard work, this is just desert. Easier than waxing a car and can be done so quick you will ask yourself did I do that right? I would leave in garage for a couple of days, they say 24 hours but I have other cars so a couple of days allowed it to cure. One week before you wash it. My experience is 2 years plus for garaged cars and 1 year for outside cars.

This new version of EXO is even easier to apply, has great hydrophobics and gloss. The polishing cloth just glides right off my 20 year old paint. Use it over ceramic coatings for an even better clean up. Exo 4 lasted 2 years this is supposed to last as long and only need one coat now.

Very easy to use. Very slick. Could have better resistance to marring an wash marks. I’m also a professional installer for a couple different brands. I did a two step paint correction before I installed this coating. I paint prepped as well. A then used the coating as per recommendations. Very easy to use. Makes me wish every coating was this easy. My only real complaint is despite all the proper prep this coating only lasted about 6months with very hydrophobic properties, I’m at 9 months now and while it still beads it’s not near as well as it had been, I had hoped for 12 months. This is so easy to apply though that you could do it hassle free every 6 months so I guess it works itself out.
