Great item

This is an excellent hybrid inverter. It took me a couple of days to get it all hooked up and I’m still working on cleaning up my wiring but it functions really well. The settings were a bit tricky to understand but their customer service helped me get it all setup.

I can't recommend this inverter as support is nonexistent. Sent 2 emails with simple questions to ExpertPower support and never received a reply. The unit seems pretty heavy duty as it weights 108lbs and looks to be well built. I have had the inverter for just under a month and it seems to be working as it should, but without any kind of support, if something goes wrong I have no support to reach out to so I will have a very large and expensive paper weight. And now I worry about the warranty, do I even have one if support doesn't even answer emails. Update 7/31/25 Expertpower support reached out to me to apologize about not replying due to the riots in CA. After sending several messages they responded quickly and answered all my questions in detail. I now feel better about support and the warranty of this inverter. I am increasing from 1 star to 3 stars. I am still testing and evaluating this inverter but so far it's looking really good. I will update again at a later date update 11/30/25 The inverter was running as designed for about a month when I decided to hookup the CT's to send any excess power back to the house. Upon enabling the CT setting on the inverter I had a big power draw and the inverter immediately went into and error and would not work as designed. I contacted Tech. support and worked with Sohl to troubleshoot the problem. After 2~3 days it was determined the inverter needed to be returned under warranty. I was surprised that Expert power was going to ship me a new inverter before shipping the bad one back, but was glad because I had disposed of the original packing material. After receiving the new inverter Sohl instructed me to up grade the firmware which I downloaded from a link Sohl supplied. I hooked it back up and everything was running exactly as it was before enabling the CT's. Sohl instructed me not to enable the CT's because he wanted to do a Teams meeting with me to make sure everything was connected correctly and to see how the inverter responded when enabling the CT setting. Sohl and what I assume was an engineer looked over the connections and double checked all the settings. after enabling the CT's the inverter started working as intended and was sending power back to the house while charging my battery and powering my load on the UPS side. After several days of testing I had some minor settings issues which Sohl tried to address. Some were corrected and some couldn't due to no settings in the firmware. I have to say that Expertpowers Tech. support is A+++ in working with me and supporting there product. I have never seen a company with such excellent support of there product like Expertpower, that's why I give them 5 stars. Thank you Sohl. The reason I'm giving this inverter 4 stars is because the firmware needs some fine tuning and tweaking. There are settings to control the power when exporting to the grid but do not work when enabling the CT's which essentially the same thing just not selling to the grid. If these options could be added to the inverter settings it would be 5 stars no problem. As for what caused the problem in the first place I'm not sure but the new inverter had what looked like a CT for the battery connection which the old one didn't have and there was the new firmware that was installed. Anyway, I would recommend this Inverter because it is doing the job I purchased it for and the excellent Tech. support
