Even as I try to be minimal with my kids toys, the different types of animal groups figures I absolutely love to have. We have a couple groups for every space like ocean, woodland, jungle, zoo, farm etc because they are wonderful for open ended and imaginative play. These are very sturdy and have a nice weight to them that isn't too much or too cheap.

I recently purchased the Woodland Animal set, and I have to say, they have been a great addition to our homeschooling activities. I got these for my 3 year old daughter to play with. She adores animals of all shapes & sizes. They are very well made & look very realistic. The only thing I didn't like about them is that only a SELECT FEW of them have difficulties standing up without falling over. That can be annoying. But for the most part they all are able to stand up.Either way my daughter loves them & really that's all that matters!

My 2 yrs old loves playing with animal figurines and naming them. This is a nice addition to what we currently have (safari animals). I would say most of the animals from this set are pretty realistic, the paint job maybe 8/10. They are sturdy and just the right size for toddlers especially they like to carry them around and even out and about. They come individually wrapped so you could either open few of them at once or all at the same time. Might need extra packaging/ wrapping if you were to gift to someone. I could totally also see myself using the deer family (set of 4) as cake toppers for my husband's bday.
