My kids love this book! My son was diagnosed at 18 months old and we’ve read a lot of T1D picture books. This ranks up there at the very top! We are sending it to PreK next week for his teachers to read on World Diabetes Day. Wonderful level of understanding and great cadence for preschool and pre-k, which is hard to find. Lovely illustrations! Thanks for writing it!

I absolutely enjoyed reading this story to my T1D son. He’s 3 years old. This story talks about the important day-to-day aspects of type 1 diabetes such as carb counting , insulin pumps, and hypoglycemia. The book is endearing and reaches out to even the youngest of type 1 diabetics. I’d highly recommend!

My friend gave me this book for my Jack with T1D and it is so good! It gives a simple understandable explanation for T1D and it’s such a sweet story. It made me cry (happy tears!) And not too wordy like some other T1D books. Perfect for preschool age
